Hello all my lovely readers, I get numerous comments a day from people who don't understand certain elements to this book. I will soon be rewriting Alpha Lukas to clarify some things better but for now, here are some answers to the most commonly asked questions. If you have anymore, feel free to comment or DM me.
1. How is Ophelia not pregnant?
OKAY, I GET THIS QUESTION SOOO MUCH, OPEHLIA IS NOT PREGNANT BECAUSE SHE CAN ONLY GET PREGNANT DURING HEAT.
2. What is heat?
Most shifter stories describe the process of heat in their own way but the most common definition I've heard is that, heat is what pushes mates to complete the mating process. In this story, heat is a short amount of time where a female shifter's body yearns for her mate in order to bare children. Ophelia is not constantly in heat therefore she is not pregnant.
3.How can Lukas and Ophelia be immortal but are still susceptible to death or certain injuries?
There are many movies, books and tv shows that include immortal characters with some sort of weakness or vulnerability that could overcome their immortality. In this book, Lukas and Opehlia do not age and cannot die unless they are harmed in a very specific way.
4. Is this story a TVD, Twilight, or Originals fan fiction?
NO, this book has nothing to do with The Originals or TVD. I cannot stress this enough, Lukas and Klaus are not the same person and I by no means meant for any confusion. As for Twilight, I used the names Emmett and Jasper because I love those names and I also used a bit of the twilight soundtrack because it's bomb and fits the theme of the story. So PLEASE STOP COMPARING MY BOOK. This story came completely from my own mind and personals ideas, not a tv show.
5. Why is Ophelia a "slut?"
Okay, i've had this direct messaged to me on a few occasions and some of you make pretty nasty comments. I would just like to say that I do not tolerate slut shaming. In every book I read it's fine for the males to have a high sex drive. I don't understand why it's such a big deal for Ophelia to have as high as a sex drive as her mate. Although, everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's fine. Please be courteous and don't offend anyone in the comment section.
