The day you had been waiting for forever had finally come. The day you finally get your long awaited helix piercing!

"I'm so nervous!" you paced back and forth.

"Relax! You'll be fine! Besides, it'll look really good on you."

"You think so?" you asked hopefully. He nodded.

"I hope it doesn't hurt too badly," you said, nervous.

"Don't worry! I'll hold your hand."

"You will?"

"Of course."

In the car, you were so excited but nervous. You kept fidgeting and shaking your legs. He put his hand on your leg to stop it from shaking. 

"Calm down, (Y/N). You'll be fine." 

"You're right, you're right. It's fine! Everything is fine. Beauty is pain," you mumbled.

He chuckled at your nervous antics. 

"We're here!" he said after a few more minutes.

"Oh my gosh."

"Relax, okay," he said, rubbing your arm. "You'll be just fine. I'll be there the whole time."

You walked up to the door, gulped, and opened it.

"Welcome!" a woman greeted. "How can we help you today?"

"I'm looking to get a helix piercing!" you answered.

"Very exciting!"

She led you to a chair and explained everything to you, and you signed some waivers. 

She marked a dot on your ear with a marker and asked if you liked the placement.

"I like it. Do you?" you looked at (C/N).

He put his hand on your chin, moving your head to get a good look at it.

"It's good."

"Alright, then we'll get started!" the piercer said.

She got out the needle. You looked at (C/N), frightened. He smiled warmly at you and took your hand.

"You're good, princess."

He rubbed his thumb again yours, trying to soothe you.

"It'll only hurt for a second," the piercer reassured. 

"O-okay."

You bit your lip, and she put the needle in. To your surprise, it didn't hurt that much!

"How was that? Not painful, right?" she asked.

"No! It was a lot less painful than I expected."

"Good job," (C/N) said, squeezing your hand.

"Do you like it?" you asked him eagerly, showing it off.

"I love it. It looks so nice on you," he smiled.

"You really think so?" you asked, your hands clasped together.

"I really think so."

You thanked the woman and left the shop.

"Maybe next time, I'll get a tattoo!"

"Woah there," he laughed. "Baby steps, (Y/N)."

"Eeeeee! I LOVE my new piercing!" you jumped up and down.

"I don't think you're gonna love it as much when you can't lay on your side."

"Beauty is pain," you shrugged.

"Well, I'm glad you're happy with it, (Y/N). You being happy makes me happy."

"R-really?"

"Of course, silly," he smiled at you.

You smiled back. The same went for you. If he was happy, you were happy too.
