Flawless

I'm not flawless
Yet you love me nevertheless

I have scars and bruises

From my past mistakes

Like walking in a warzone like warrior fakes

I have little courage
Yet you take away my burdens

When I'm sunken and weak in my turmoil
You lift me up, like I'm royal

With you, I'm strong
Because I walk in the right and not the wrong

You shield me from the pain
So I wont see the rain

You take away my deepest scars
So that I could see my inner stars

You listen to my heart
Like I'm a singing lark

You see me as something of worth
When I'm trying to find my precious mirth

You know my deepest thoughts
Even when they're in worried knots

You see the beauty in me
That I always saw as lost debris

You guide me through the storm
And set me free

When I'm drowning in my own stress
You give me rest

When I feel like the whole world is crushing me
You give me strength and I'm free

My heart sings for you.
My mind praises you.
My soul worships you.
My Lord God.
