I'm not flawless
Yet you love me neverthelessI have scars and bruises
From my past mistakes
Like walking in a warzone like warrior fakes
I have little courage
Yet you take away my burdensWhen I'm sunken and weak in my turmoil
You lift me up, like I'm royalWith you, I'm strong
Because I walk in the right and not the wrongYou shield me from the pain
So I wont see the rainYou take away my deepest scars
So that I could see my inner starsYou listen to my heart
Like I'm a singing larkYou see me as something of worth
When I'm trying to find my precious mirthYou know my deepest thoughts
Even when they're in worried knotsYou see the beauty in me
That I always saw as lost debrisYou guide me through the storm
And set me freeWhen I'm drowning in my own stress
You give me restWhen I feel like the whole world is crushing me
You give me strength and I'm freeMy heart sings for you.
My mind praises you.
My soul worships you.
My Lord God.
