It's been two weeks since Harry distanced himself from Louis. Harry talked to Louis but it wasn't like the first time. Louis was in pain everyday and he hated being in the same house as Harry. He stuck with it though because Louis knew he had to make Harry see that the world wasn't as bad as his mind led him to believe.

"Good morning." Louis said as Harry emerged from the bedroom and into the kitchen. Harry nodded to Louis and made himself a cup of tea.

"I got a call. Simon is stopping by later today to see how we're doing." Harry announced. Louis' heart raced and he nodded his head. He felt overwhelmed already and Simon coming over was just a cherry on top of today.

Later that day they both got dressed and cleaned the house up a bit without talking to one another. Neither of them wanted to talk about the kiss and the moment they had at Gemma's but they knew they needed too. They had to clear the air one last time before Simon got here.

"Harry we have to talk about the kiss." Louis sighed while crossing his arms. Harry followed him with the same sigh and turned the tv down. He shook his head and looked at Louis as if Louis had just ran over his dog. His stare was so cold and Louis had to remind himself that this wasn't Harry. This was the opposite of him.

"What about it? That it was a mistake? Yes Lou, it was a mistake that I wished I had never made. You know why?" Harry started as his voice grew louder. Louis' body began to shell up and take cover from what seemed to be like another fight they were going to have.

"It's because every time I catch you looking at me I see in your eyes that you haven't let go of that night. Just leave it alone okay? It's over and it was a pure mistake, got it?" Harry said while leaning back into the couch but Louis stayed standing. The old shy Louis that just met Harry wanted to nod his head but this Louis knew Harry. He wasn't the only person in this house that had it all figured out.

"No I don't got it. Why? Because you also go back to that night. When you ask me if I'm coming to bed at night I see that moment flash through your eyes and when you ask if I want some coffee I see it. I see it when you throw me one of your t-shirts or when you're watching the tele and some stupid show that reminds you of me comes on. I see it in your eyes to Harry so quit acting like I'm the only fucking one going back to that great ass night." Louis yelled as tears prickled his eyes. Harry stood up calmly, his eyes full of anger so other emotion that Louis hadn't seen in Harry before.

"I get it Harry, you're scared of what this world would think but fuck this world. They aren't all that bad. Why should it matter what this world thinks because if we have what I think we have then it shouldn't matter. We all deserve some kind of happiness Harry." Louis said more calmly and Harry's eyes fell to the floor. He stayed quiet for so long and the tension in the room was so thick you could almost see it.

"Please, say something." Louis whispered while searching his body and face for some kind of closer on this argument. Harry looked up at Louis and it almost seemed like he was crying. Louis knew this pain, the pain of being scared of what the world would think of him.

"I- I need to breathe." Harry mumbled while walking to the door while Louis followed nervously.

"Please don't go, don't walk away. You'r eon the edge please Harry, don't go." Louis begged while tears fell from his face. Harry couldn't look him in the eyes because despite everything, he hated seeing Louis hurt; he hated seeing the pain on his face that he know he's caused.

"I have to get some air. I'll be back." Harry mumbled while closing the door. Louis' mouth fell open as the door shut. Louis felt the pain rush through his body as if it were a drug he wished he'd never had taken. He took a deep breath before letting it all out, his breath, the tears, and the pain.

Louis sat down at the kitchen table and just stared at the door. It felt like days had passed before Harry had finally walked back through the door. Louis stood up immediately, pursing his lips as harry emerged through the door but he wasn't alone. Simon followed him in and smiled at the place as he looked around.

"You were right son, the place is nice." Simon said hesitantly but you could tell he was lying. Louis opened his mouth to say something to Harry but decided not too. He walked down the hall and into the bathroom, trying to find his breath.

Louis was positive this was Harry's way of saying no to them, to everything they had and could've had. Louis didn't understand why Harry chose to let go of everything they could've had and his only explanation was that Gemma was wrong. Maybe Harry was in fact straight after all and maybe he just wanted to experience a bit. Maybe everything was a mistake after all and if it was, why would Louis put himself through this?

Louis wiped his face off in the bathroom and made himself look presentable. He came out of the bathroom to find Harry and Simon laughing at something one of them had said to one another. Harry made brief eye contact with Louis before looking down at the table.

"Well, I was planning on saying hello but you ran to the bathroom." Simon said while shaking Louis' hand. He had a choice to sit next to Harry or Simon but Louis didn't want to sit anywhere.

"Yeah sorry 'bout that, had to wee." Louis chuckles but it was forced. He went to the kitchen and opened the fridge.

"Would you like a drink Simon?" Louis asked as Harry looked at him. Louis ignored Harry's hard glare and raised his eyebrows up at Simon.

"Oh sure sure, I'll take a cup of iced tea." Simon nods to Louis. Louis proceeds to make Simon a glass and one for himself.

"So, how have the first two months been together? Lots of kisses?" Simon teases but Louis freezes. He doesn't know what to say after that remark even though it's a joke. Is he suppose to laugh and tell him about all the fighting or nod and play along?

"Eh Louis here has been helping out with rent and the expenses of the tattoo removal by singing with me as many nights as we can get in." Harry says calmly without acknowledging Simon's joke. Louis nods his head and sighs while handing Simon his cuppa.

"So why are you here exactly?" Louis questions while sitting on the counter and ignoring Harry stare from the dining table. Simon nods his head and pulls out a black one inch binder and opens it up.

"We have to have you guys sign a state paper regarding your consent to act upon the tests to prove whether you guys love each other or not. Just a few quick signatures on a few pages and then I'll be out of your hair." Simon said while handing Louis and Harry a pen. Louis jumped down from the counter to grab his while Harry went ahead a started signing the papers.

"So this is all just for the test?" Louis questioned more and Simon nodded. Something seemed off as if they were signing a contract for their own death but Louis gave way and signed anyways. Louis and Harry's shoulders brushed abruptly and its like the world had stopped and Louis stepped back.

"Um Louis there's still two more blanks to sign." Simon said while sliding the paper over to him closer. Louis glanced at Harry carefully and then back to the paper, signing his name twice more and then handing it back to Simon.

Harry watched Louis as he nervously shuffled away from him. Harry mentally rolled his eyes and then focused his attention back on Simon. Simon smiled as he flipped through the paper as if he had the worst thoughts running through his head and he was proud of them. Louis grabbed his tea and poured it out, not feeling as thirsty as he was anymore.

"Well this seems to be all I needed for now. Ill be back in a few weeks for a check up on you guys to see how things are going." Harry felt almost like a patient and Simon was in home health care helper who checked up on them regularly. He hated this whole cycle but if it makes the tattoo removal cheaper then hes willing to do it.
