Harry spent the day reading his new book and found it quite interesting. Annabella had finally realized Gilligan was the killer and Jonny was just a guy. Harry was in utter shock to find out Gilligan was the the killer. He could wait to finish the book.
Before Harry could proceed to chapter 21, he heard a knock at the door. He'd been reading for hours now and didn't realize it was five o'clock now.
Harry made his way down the hallway and rested his book on the dining table. He walked over to the door and peeked outside to see someone he's missed forever.
"Gemma?" He questions as he opened the door. Gemma jumps into his arms, squealing like a little kid.
"I missed you!" She said while grabbing his jaw so she could look at him better. It's something Anne had always done to Harry and Gemma just took after her.
"What are you doing here?" Harry asked.
"Oh you know, I found my soulmate." She smiled while pulling back her long sleeves. On her right arm it read the words of her lover, Don't be afraid of the crowd.
"Soulmates are bullshit Gem. It's just the government fucking with us. They put words on our arms to make us focus on them rather then what the hell they got going on in the capital." Harry said while walking over to the couch and flipping the tv on. Gemma rolled her eyes and closed the front door.
"If you hate them that much then why don't you go to capital and get your shit removed?" Gemma huffed while sitting on the dusty love seat across from Harry.
"Does it look like I have the money for that?" Harry said while acknowledging his tiny apartment.
"There's something called a saving account. It's not the 1800's Bub." She said while kicking off her shoes.
"Who's your 'soulmate' anyways?" Harry says while keeping his eyes on the tv. They were airing a live concert from some unknown band called The Compass.
"Do you really care?" Gemma crossed her arms while Harry got up and went to the kitchen.
"You're my sister, of course I care." Harry called as he grabbed two cups and poured them some tea. Gemma made her way to the dining table and sat down.
"Well his name is Ashton. I was at one of my poetry conventions and it was bigger then what I was use too and-"
"You've really stuck by this poetry thing haven't you?" Harry interrupted. Gemma hated when Harry interrupted her but she continued without caring.
"Yes and the crowd was far larger then I expected. Ashton was one of the guys at my table and he didn't talk much but when they called my name it's like he knew I was nervous. Everyone was nervous but I was extra because of the crowd. You know my phobia." Gemma contributed. Harry sighed and placed her drink in front of her.
"He looked up at me and said "Don't be afraid of the crowd." It was awesome. Of course at first I didn't realize it and then I said "I'll try not to be." And then it clicked, for the both of us." Gemma's eyes twinkled and Harry's just rolled his. He swore she was giving him a headache like she did when they were little.
"That's amazing Gem. Are you guys getting married this weekend?" Harry said sarcastically. Harry was a complete ass and especially to his sister. But Harry would die for her if he had too.
"You're such a dick!" She kicked him from under the table. Harry chuckled and shrugged his shoulders.
"What can I say?"
"You can apologize for being rude. I just thought I'd tell you since I was in town. Amy needed some help with her little ones." Gemma sighed in frustration. She was never big on having kids or even dealing with them but Amy was a long time family friend.
