Chapter Two: The Oracle

I screamed and pulled away from my thoughts. Images of more memories filled my mind, along with the image of a man with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"They're here." Madame Lucille spoke. She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me to the door, pushing me out as she guided me down the hallway back into the club.

"Its him isn't it?" I asked. "The shadow in my memories.. He's the one who's after me." I stated. Madame Lucille gripped me by the shoulders and looked me in the eyes.

"You're keeping yourself from remembering. Find him. He'll be able to help you restore your memories." She embraced me in a hug before pulling away, slowly walking back down the hallway where all the screaming was coming from. "I'll see you in another life, my friend." She winked.

Reagan appeared out of the blue, tugging me back towards the entrance in which we came through. My eyes landing on a man with deep brown eyes starring right at me, almost as if he knew me.

I snapped out of my daze and took off with Reagan, running down the street to God knows where. But for some reason, my feet were carrying me to unknown charts to both Reagan and I.

"Where are you going? This neighborhood is the definition of the hood!" Reagan screamed as she followed me. "Marina!" She shouted at me.

I stopped right in front of a large wooden door with the initials NP. Slowly, I reached out and pushed it open, revealing a large dusty lobby with chairs thrown all over.. I stepped inside with Reagan hot on my tracks, practically walking in my own steps.

"I know this place.." I whispered. A flash of a memory played through my mind. A man with blonde hair and blue eyes...

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the back of my neck. Slowly pulling down the straps to my dress, but as I felt his warm hot kisses, I couldn't help but feel discomfort.

I gazed outside the window, trying to release myself from his grasps. But he held onto me tighter than before.

"Be mine, Serena.." He whispered.

I kept my gaze on the outside, my eyes meeting a pair of brown ones. I felt the urge to go after the figure, but I stayed stuck in place. Slowly, I began to pull away from the man with blue eyes and blonde hair. Only to hear the drop of a body.

"NATHANIEL!"

Nathaniel... The mystery man in my dreams..

I opened my eyes meeting the same blue eyes in my memories.

"You've come home.." He whispered. His lips brushed mine, blowing away the foggy memories. As much as I enjoyed the kiss, it didn't feel right.. I quickly pulled away and slapped him across the face.

"What the hell!" I screamed at him. Reagan jumped besides me and pulled out a knife to defend us. Not that it would work at least..

Nathaniel snatched the knife away from her, throwing it clear across the room and into the wall.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked curiously. Nathaniel seemed wounded by the words I had just spoken.

"Rena.. It's me, Nate." When I didn't respond he took me by the hand and placed it over his heart. "Serena.. Please, I know you're in there. You always return to me one way or another." He begged.

I pulled away from him and took a step back.

"I'm sorry.. But I have no idea who you are.." I whispered. Reagan pushed me aside and cornered Nathaniel against a wall. But no later, Nathaniel had gripped onto Reagan's arm and threw her aside. Without even noticing, he threw me over his shoulder and began carrying me away.

I squirmed and beat on his back before having the idea of flipping myself out. Of course, it would take down the both of us, but at least I would be free from his grasps.

I quickly flung my legs backwards, almost as if I was doing a back flip. And with my luck, I landed straight onto my left wrist.

"Shit!" I screamed out. Reagan picked herself up from the floor and rushed towards me, taking my wrist into her hands and examining it.

"You fucking ass hole. You broke her wrist!" She screamed. But before Reagan could go after him, a stranger walked inside very calmly. Gently closing the door and locking it behind him. He spun around on his heels and walked casually over to Nathaniel, grabbing him from behind the collar of his shirt and jerking him upright.

"You let a human throw you around like that? She sure must be special. " He smirked before kicking Nathaniel in the stomach. He sighed and brushed his hands on his black leather jacket. "Reagan.." He groaned and looked away, running his hands down his face.

"God damn, Reagan. I told you to stay out of sight and away from trouble!"
