How do you pronounce Amathwen's name?
- Like Uh-math-when.
What does her name mean?
- I'm not sure. I had a fascination with weird names when I wrote this.
What did Nico say to Amathwen in Elvish?
- "I love you." Yeah, kind of soon to say it, but I wrote this book a long time ago and I wasn't very good with timing romances, not to mention that canon characters acted very OOC. My explanation for it at the time was that they were "in the moment."
Why didn't Percy remember the Lotus Casino and Medusa?
- A side effect of Hera wiping his memories in "The Lost Hero."
Why didn't Amathwen die when Ren did?
- They were one of the few satyr-demigod connections that didn't die at the same time.
Phillip and Calypso????
- I needed a way to get Phillip out of the picture so Nicthwen could live!!!
Why did this story include many of the same monsters from the actual books?
- When I wrote this I basically combined all of the PJO books together, though it is quite similar to The Lightning Thief.
Will there be a sequel?
- I don't know. My interests moved away from PJO a long time ago and I've kind of stopped writing fanfiction, but we'll see!
