I put popcorn in my mouth and watched it. Terrence walked in and looked at the tv
" You always watching this"
I shrugged " It's one of my favorite movies"
He laughed and shook his head "Everybody on their way so get ya ass up"
" Did you get the cake ?"
He nodded " Get up and get dressed"
I got up and walked into the bathroom and got myself together. Today Trilana was turning 6 months so we were throwing her a half of year party. Something everybody in my family had.
Terrence was now living in Florida with me, He packed up his stuff bought a house and left. He bought furniture when he got down here. I don't know where he got money like that from but it's okay. He made up with my mom she told her story but he forgave and forget.
It's been almost a month and me and Tremaine haven't been talking foreal sometimes i ask him to come over but he be spinning me. He barley call nor text anymore so i'll be surprised if he comes today.
I stripped from my clothes and got into the shower. Once i got out i walked into my room and dried off. I put my clothes on and walked into the living room. All of our friends was here, But again no Tremaine.
I signed and walked to the kitchen getting ready to start the party since it was suppose to start at 5 and it was now 5:10
" Girl hurry it's past 5. Black people can never be on time" Cydnee said and laughed
" Hush up i lost track of time" I took the cake out of the box
" Where tremaine at?" Jalen said
I shrugged " Y'all haven't talked to him either?"
They all shook their heads and i signed. I don't know if it has something to do with Nicole or what. I know i told him to make up with her but i didn't mean for him to go ghost on me.
I sat the cake up then grabbed Trilana from the other kids and sat her on the high chair. I sat the cake in front of her and she laughed.
" You like mama?" I asked her
She laughed again and i laughed. Everybody came into the kitchen and we turned the lights off and i lit the candle
" Happy half year to you, Happy half year to you. Happy half year dear Trilana happy half year to you" We all sang
She just sat there and laughed. When we were done i helped her blow the candle
" Yayyy" Everyone said I sat her back down in the chair and took pictures
