Leo held Kate's hand. They were walking across the airport. Their week at LA had already finished and they were heading back to England. They were carrying their luggage, and they finally arrived to their plane, entering.

They sat together, only this time Kate pecked small kisses on his cheek every now and then.

"How are the kids?" He asked her, taking her hand.

"Oh, they're fine. Dad is fine too. Bear and Joe went to a basketball game a few days ago and Mia met with her friends. They say they miss you loads." She lightly chuckled, remembering the conversation with her kids. "They miss you more than they miss me."

Leo smiled. "That can't be true. I'm just Uncle Leo, you're mummy Kate. They love you."

Her smile slowly disappeared from her face. "I also got a call from Ned this morning."

Leo turned his head to face her. "What? Why didn't you tell me? What did he wanted?"

Kate sighed slightly, holding his hand tighter. "He said he wanted to talk with me. He wanted to discuss the divorce when we arrive."

"What did you say?"

"I accepted. Leo, I need to talk clearly to him." She explained.

"I'm going with you." Leo interrupted. "I don't want him near you, Kate. Not alone, at least."

Kate frowned. "Don't you trust me?"

"Of course I do, but I don't trust him. He cheated on you, Katie. I don't want him trying to hurt you." He explained gently, caressing her cheek with his free hand.

Kate leaned in his touch, smiling slowly. "Thank you, babe. For everything, really."

Leo kissed her tenderly, grinning softly as she cuddled into him and fell asleep.
                                                                                                      .
Kate woke up as they arrived to England. She yawned once, turning to face Leo. Her head laid on his lap and her legs were extended towards her own seat. He was reading something and he hadn't realized she was awake yet. She extended her hand, poking his arm lightly.

Leo noticed she was awake and smiled brightly, leaning down to peck her forehead.

"We're here, darling." He said sweetly.

She sat up slowly. It was already quite late in England, and they still had to drive to her home.

"Let's go home, dear." She smiled at Leo.

Leo didn't hide that the word home had made him feel loved and happy.

"Yes," he nodded. "Let's go home."
