Ash X Serena One-Shot Collection

I love you...

When Serena came back to Kalos from Hoenn, she competed in the Master Class once again, and became Kalos Queen. All the way in Alola, Ash had been watching every single contest Serena had entered in Hoenn. He cheered her on when he saw her face, and his face glistened with joy and excitement whenever she had won. After winning her final contest in Hoenn, she announced to an interviewer that she was going to go back to Kalos to fufill her dream of becoming the best Performer.

Ash had found out the date of the Master Class, and kept track of the days ever since. On the day of the Master Class, Serena had pulled off a stunning performance with her Pokémon, and gained the title of Kalos Queen. Clemont and Bonnie had gone to see her performance, and Ash had spotted them in the audience from the television.

The moment the results showed Serena as the winner of the Master Class, Ash jumped out of his seat and cheered louder than ever. However, he remembered she couldn't hear his cheers all the way in Kalos.

As Serena met up with Clemont and Bonnie, a small twist in her chest reminded her Ash wasn't there. Her passionate but innocent feelings for Ash held onto her ever since she left for Hoenn. She maintained a smile as the two left to go back to Prism tower, but it quickly faded as she looked up, wondering what Ash was doing at that very moment.

The two kept their sad feelings to themselves, until they both completely forgot about those feelings. They occasionally felt their hearts clench, but they didn't know why...

Years later, however, Ash decided to go to Kalos to see Greninja, and maybe Clemont and Bonnie, and maybe Serena...

Ash stepped out of the airport, Pikachu on his shoulder. He smiled at his partner, both glad to be back in Kalos. Ash was now 16, the same age as Serena and Clemont, Bonnie being 13. Ash looked up as multiple Spritzee and Fletchling flew in the sky above him.

"So, Pikachu, where do you think we'll find the others?" Ash said, grinning at his Mouse Partner,

"Pika Pika!" it cried happily. Ash nodded,

"Prism Tower it is!" He exclaimed, breaking out into a run towards Prism Tower.

He passed by people as he ran through Lumiose City, occasionally bumping into them and their Pokémon and calling out, 'Sorry!' as he kept on running, Pikachu perched on his shoulder. As Ash finally reached the Lumiose Gym, Prism Tower, he stopped in front its entrance. Panting, he walked to the doors and a robotic voice spoke,

"Welcome to the Lumiose Gym!"

Ash grinned, knowing who the voice belonged to,

"Clembot! Long time! It's me, Ash Ketchum! Do you remember me?" He said.

"Ash, it has been a long time! Welcome back to the Lumiose Gym!" Clembot said as the doors opened,

"Thanks!" Ash said as he walked in. He saw Bonnie having a battle with Clemont, which ended with Clemont winning.

"Aww...I still can't beat you!" Bonnie whined as she returned her Dedenne, which used to be Clemont's until Bonnie became an actual trainer once she was old enough. Bonnie's complaints were interrupted by a soft giggle, which made Ash's head turn. There in the stands stood Serena, same honey-blonde hair, except slightly longer where it stopped right above her shoulders. Her blue eyes shone brighter than any of the lights in the Gym. Clemont returned his Heliolisk, and smiled at Bonnie,

"Maybe you didn't win, but you're getting better. I can feel it!" Clemont said. Bonnie pouted,

"But you say the same thing after every battle we have!" She said, puffing her cheeks. Ash chuckled to himself. Bonnie would stay the same childish but supportive Bonnie that he knew.
