So the next day me and Rivan headed to the studio for the interview with Alex which I really didn't want to go. Like out of all the people he had to be the only one for the ratings to shoot up. I mean desperate times mean desperate measures but I'm actually happy now with Rivan, So, whatever happen is just that. I mean Alex fucked up when he started messing with Claire but not my fault you lost this diamond for a dime. It's all fun and games till- " Erika you heard anything I asked?" Rivan looked at me sheepishly" I mean if your not ready to be in the same room with him that's fine we can cancel?" I shook my head" nah, I'm ready to face him  cause people are assuming that we are still hooking up here and there due to we was "goals"." We stared at each other then laughed at that till we heard the host come back stage" y'all ready to go on tv?" I reached for Rivan's hand for support" more than ready!" As we walked on the set the lights were bright as the crowd was cheering or aweing at how cute we was together. So far I wasn't nervous till I saw Alex... my supposed to be soulmate... I mean I guess he was a mistake in my life I had to let go of. Once we sat down I saw Alex looking at me pissed off that I moved on with someone who wasn't him. Karma hurts like a bitch doesn't it! I really wanted to tell him that cause he felt what I felt when he cheated on me with Claire. "So, today on the celebrity on the rise...we have here miss Erika with her new boo Rivan." Lisa Simplicity said" over here we have Alex Fox, who is former ex boyfriend of miss Erika." Alex smiled at the camera and audience. I felt sick if people still loved him as a damn icon who used me for what an up-come cause his own career was failing? Whatever! Mrs.Simplicity asked" Erika, so the fan base of Alex are claiming that you was using him  for an up-come and are accusing you are doin the same with Mr.Rivan who is also an upcoming artist." I felt pissed off to my stomach as I searched for the right way to handle this situation I said" well personally I felt used for Alex to regain some more clout to make headlines on the bill boards and as for Rivan, I actually care for him." Boy Alex looked red in the face with anger that he said" did his manger team pay you to say that on tv when clearly you don't want to be with him or did his manger threaten you and your career...hm what we call that in the music industry payola to actually give you a platform?" The crowd gasped at that remark as Simplicity looked at me waiting on a response. I just stared at Alex then squeezing Rivan's hand for support to back me up but all he could do was sit there and let me take the jabs. I COULD SEE THE HEADLINES NOW " Erika uses Rivan for clout and is using payola for her career" or "Rika is a fake relationship?!" !  This interview was a mess that I just stormed off but before I did I turned around" this industry is so fucked up that you can't be happy without someone trying to ruin you career to make theirs more popular...I don't even know what love is!" I forgot I was on tv then stormed up to Alex" You regret that you lost me that's why you being petty like where is your baby mama at?! HUH?! Dead beat father!" Mrs.Simplicity was just sipping her tea like" damn! Ratings are booming now!" Alex stood up and pressed my hand to his chest" that isn't my kid and she knows it and I also got the DNA test so, why don't you stop acting like you don't miss me and leave old boy and come with me?" Rivan stood up" nah, you messed up to many times so leave her with a real man instead a play boy." Me and Alex turned to him" shut yo punk ass up!" I laughted then soon the crowd laughted. Mrs.Simplicity finally spoke"personally y'all are made for each other which is sad that y'all would let some random baby break y'all up but what if things were different what could have y'all been?" Alex and I smiled at each other as I said" personally I don't know probably would have been married with kids by now." Alex kissed my hand" you want my kid?" I looked down at my ring that Rivan gave me" more than anything but it's to late Alex..." that's when I felt an arm wrap around my waist" yea bro it's a little to late I bagged this." Rivan said" so, don't touch my fiancé like that if you know what's good for your career." Alex smirked" is that a threat cause press would look lovely that you was a punk to let your fiancé get blasted on tv then snatched from you so...I wouldn't  threat me if I was you." I felt the grip get tight as he dragged me off the set. I knew this night wasn't gonna end well for me now nor for Rivan's career. Oof!
