A Picnic Under the Stars with Niall Horan

Imagine that it's some random day in August. After all, it's summer. Who keeps track of the dates, right? You're sitting at home on your couch, watching the One Direction Concert DVD, when your phone rings. You look at the Caller ID "Nialler <3". You smile, and pick up after listening to his ringtone for a bit.

"Hey, babe!" you say.

"Hey, (y/n)! What's up?"

"Nothing much... I miss you!"

"I miss you, too! So... the boys and I just finished recording, and are on our way back. Are you doing anything tonight?"

"Nope.."

"Good! You wanna go to Nando's tonight?"

"Course, babe!" you smile.

"Okay, I'll see you at 7. Bye, love."

"Bye, babe!"

The moment you put the phone down and resume the DVD, you hear a knock on the door. You pause the concert, again, and go to open the door. That is, after looking at your outfit. A blue Jack Wills tank top, Pink yoga shorts with LOVE written across the back, and a messy bun; you assume it's okay for a day at home. You fling the door open to see Eleanor and Danielle grinning at you.

"(y/n)!!!!!!" They squeal!

"Dani! El!" you say just as excitedly.

"Lou and Liam sent us over to help get your ready for your date with Niall tonight."

"But... it's only to Nando's! I thought I'd just put on a white tank and my flowery skirt, with a pair of wedges!"

The two girls share a look. "Umm..."

"Guys... what are you keeping from me?"

"What? Nothing!" they say, a bit TOO fast. "We just want to make sure you look perfect!"

"Okay, well, I guess there's no harm in that. Shall I go take a shower first?"

"Yes! Hurry!"

"Okay, okay!" you laugh at their eagerness.

After you get out of the shower and blow dry your hair, you step into your room to see your white toms, matched with the sundress you'd gotten a few months ago from Abercrombie, but have never had the chance to wear. Once you slip into the outfit, you go into the hallway, to be met with a few squeals.

"(y/n)! You look bloody amazing!" Eleanor says.

After 2 hours of hair curling and a slight touch of make-up, the door rings. You go downstairs to answer it, and in return, your breath is taken away. Standing at the door with a bouquet of roses, is the most perfect boy you have ever seen. Slightly crooked teeth, beautiful blue eyes, smartly messed hair, jeans and a snug grey V-neck. You have ever seen anything more beautiful.

"NIALL!!!!" you jump into his arms.

"Hey, (y/n). You look lovely; like always" he whispers into your ears.

"All right, go on, you lovebirds" says Harry from the door. To be honest, you hadn't noticed that the boys were here.

"Have fun!" they chorus as the two of you exit the room.

As you get in the car, and start driving towards a mountaintop, you suddenly realize...

"Babe... This isn't the way to Nando's..."

"I know. I may have lied about the surprise" he grins.

Suddenly, the car stops, and as you get out, you -- once again -- are speechless. The view is breathtaking from the mountaintop, under the beautiful night sky, with a lovely picnic for two.

"Surprise" you hear a voice in your ear.

"Did you plan this?" you ask.

He nods, smiling shyly.

"Thank you, babe"

"I'd do anything for you (y/n)"

You stand on my toes, and plant a slight peck on his lips.

"NOW LET'S GO EAT!!!" You say, as you pull away.

He laughs at your eagerness, but still leads you to the blanket. As you two sit there, eating chocolate covered strawberries to start off, under the stars, you realize something. This moment is one that you want to treasure forever. You love this boy. So, so, very much.
