"I'm still enjoying my youth duh! Wala sa bokabularyo ko ang makuntento sa isa. Different taste can give you more excitement than sticking to one." She hissed and tried to order another glass of tequila ngunit sinenyasan ko ang bartender na huwag muna.

Ayokong umawat ng away lasing mamaya, give me a damn break.

"Then why don't you defend yourself to your parents. I'm pretty sure maiintindihan ka ni Tita, lalo na at she's aware na gawa sa bakal ang bungo mo."

"I already did that." Her expression immediately shifted. Now she's sobbing like a baby, "But buo na daw ang desisyon n'ya na ibalandra ang mukha ko sa mga blind date. Tangina naman nakakasira ng reputasyon para sa mga tulad kong makati ang hiwa."

Napailing na lamang ako at muling lumagok ng inumin, I can already feel the dizziness and blurring of my vision but I can still think correctly. Tanungin mo pa ako ng mga math problems with five digit numbers.

"Then attend the blind date and just dump all of them. Simple as that." I suggested. Nanlalaki naman ang mga mata nitong tinignan ako at niyugyog na para bang isa sa pinaka pangit na option ang aking naturan.

"How would I do that easily!? Some of the dude she want me to see became my fling and fubu before. Lina, you know that my rule is to only used them once and I don't give my freaking true name towards them! Kaya pag nakita nila ako ulit at pag nalaman ng ermat ko ang mga kagagahan na ginagawa ko noon, baka ideretso na niya ako sa altar." Her voice cracked, "Ugh I'm dead, this is the reason why I don't want to be a rich fucking heiress." nag mamaktol itong napahawak sa kanyang ulo at napahilot.

Another mayayaman problems na di ko afford.

Ibinaba ko nalang ang aking baso sa gilid at umayos ng upo, "Then asked Kia to be your substitute."

" Substitute?" her gaze shifted on me.

I nodded.

"But Kia is also part of rich family and some of this elite dudes might know her. Aside from that, isang linggo siyang mawawala dahil sa business trip at bukas na yung start ng blind date! Ugh shuta, susukuan na ata ako ng kaluluwa ko."

She's really in hopeless case... like mine.

"Well that's the only option I can suggest. Face them or use a substitute." I remarked and drink my last shot. Ayoko namang umuwing bagsak at taob ang sikmura, I have some errands to do tomorrow like finding a part time job or---

"No, I guess I can use the second option." Bumaling akong muli ng tingin dito at hindi sinasadiyang nag tama ang aming paningin.

We look at each other for about a couple of seconds like we're talking by the used of telepathy.

Don't tell me she's thinking that..

My eyes widened.

"No," I quickly answered and shrugged my head. Napasinghap naman ito at muli akong niyugyog.

"Come on Lina! You're the only one that can fit to the situation! please help me I really need you to be my substitute for the blind date." Astrid pleaded.

Karma ko ba'to? Nag suggest lang naman ako kasi gano'n yung kadalasan kong nababasa sa mga libro!

"But I can't, I have many things to do Astrid. I need to work so I'm not your key of escape this time---hoy anong ginagawa mo!?" Dumoble ang laki ng aking mga mata ng tumayo ito at humarap sa akin.

Thanks to the loud music and fun atmosphere around, no one are giving us any attention.

"Please Lina? Do this for me. Babawi ako promise." She kneeled down in front of me and grabbed my hands, para ba itong nag mamakaawang tupa na siyang aking ikinagulat.

Ugh! why I'm such a soft hearted being!

"Astrid, I have problems that I need to conquered too. I need sideline kapag weekend so I can't attend your blind date---" she cut my sentence off, making me stunned and at the same time, amused.

I can see the determination towards her bloodshot eyes.

"Then think this as your sideline! Don't worry about the money, I'll pay you."

Ugh, why I can't resist her.
