Usually, we really buy our own stocks through online shops or convenient store if it's just a noodles or snacks--- because we're all busy working our ass until midnight. But then I suddenly suggested that we should buy all the things we needed in mall and check its quality and prices by ourselves.
I also secure the packaging and expiration dates of the products I'll buy before proceeding to the counter.
Cash or credit card?"
"Cash. And please also add the delivery fee to my receipt. Thanks." I ordered before giving the whole payment.
Aba dapat lang kasama sa budget iyon. Ayoko namang mag buhat ng mahigit sampung plastic ng mag isa!
The cashier just nodded and give ma a piece of paper to fill up about my adresses and other informations. Purchasing groceries by your own is really tiring and a dull experience, lalo na kapag nakasalubong kapa ng mag -jowa na nag lalandian sa gilid.
I weakly grabbed my phone and look for the time.
It's already seven in the evening, and I almost consume two hours inside just to buy our one month supplies.
I just sit for a while and when I already gain half of my energy back, I stood up and walk once again to find the nearest restaurant selling chicken wings. I ate my dinner peacefully and finally headed to my last destination.
Bookstore.
I can feel how my lips ripped off by my wide smile right now.
There's a lot of new arrival books displayed inside the shelves. I start scanning every single synopsis of the books and its author, hindi naman ako nahirapang makapili at nakita na agad ang natipuhan although they are all seducing my heart, I promise to myself that I can only buy one.
Well, I just bought twenty books last month!
A young student who looks mesmerized by my presence.
What a nostalgic scene. Seems like it can't be avoided.
Sagit naman akong natigilan before I bite my lower lip and slowly shrugged my head.
"Ahmmm, actually I'm not." I skeptically answered.
Her reaction immediately shifted.
