He leans his head back, letting his tired eyes close to rest for a moment. The next bus should arrive within ten minutes or so, and he'll be on his way to the next town over to continue his search. He's going to find Jimin, even if he has to search the entire country with a small collection of pictures of the boy on his phone. They have a lot to discuss and so many days to make up for without one another.
Jungkook's anger is gone, every bit of it replaced with apologetic fright. He has so many things to say to Jimin when he finds him. So many things he should've said before. He runs his thumb down the bridge of his nose, trying to calm his racing thoughts. He relaxes into the cold metal bench and sighs. It's been 36 hours since he's gotten any real sleep, only managing cat naps in between the time he must invest scoping out his surroundings. His thoughts go fuzzy as he wishes them away in exchange for a couple minutes of rest. When they finally dissipate, leaving him in relative mental silence, a soft murmur his ears pick up drag him back into a fully conscious state.
Jungkook snaps his eyes open, scanning the nearby area. He twists in his seat, squinting to see faces farther away. Jimin? No. Jimin? Not him. Jimin?
His breath catches. Jungkook jumps to his feet, dropping his minimal belongs onto the bus stop bench. Jimin, running his fingers through his wind blown hair, is standing a mere twenty feet away from him. He appears completely oblivious of his presence, something Jungkook takes advantage of in the heat of the moment. He hops over the bench, quickly ducking behind a nearby wall and out of sight. It's definitely Jimin, his boyfriend with frown lines marking up his beautiful face.
Jimin crouches down suddenly, retrieving something from the ground he must have dropped. A bag he's carrying slides down his arm and clatters before him. Jimin huffs and bends down again to collect scattered items. Coins. Crumpled paper. Candy bar wrappers. Jungkook chews on his bottom lip. His heart leaps forward, painfully fast. He's anxious and paranoid about letting Jimin out of his sight.
The smaller looks irritated, tired. He quickly pushes his things back into his bag and clutches it in his arm. Jungkook backs behind the wall when Jimin looks around him as he stands. He has to approach him, somehow. He just has to go. If Jimin runs, well he'll just have to run, too. He glances towards his own belongings still waiting on the bench. Priorities. Jimin comes first, and he's starting to leave the premises.
Jungkook steps out from behind his cover, moving fast in Jimin's direction. The other catches sight of him and complete awe lightens his gloomy expression. He takes a step away from Jungkook's gaining advantage on him as he realizes what's happening, tripping on his own feet as he stumbles backwards. He catches himself, but doesn't appear to have made a decision of what to do. Jungkook raises his voice. "Stop. Stop moving. Stop right now."
Jimin doesn't take well to his demands, not that it was anticipated that he would. He creates distance now between them, watching the younger with wide eyes. Jimin turns around to move away faster and he dodges Jungkook's hand that reaches out towards him, finding himself cornered between a half rising wall and another bus stop bench. His eyes flash between Jungkook and searching for a way around him.
"Jimin. Park Jimin." Jungkook calls to him, coming closer. His voice is desperate and losing its weight. Emotion overwhelms him all at once. He found him, he's found Jimin. "Park Jimin. I see you, I'm looking right at you. Stop running away from me."
"D-don't." Jimin stutters, putting his hand up before him to keep distance between them from dwindling. He presses his lower back against the half rising wall. Jungkook can grab him in the time it would take him to climb over it, but would he Dare with so many people around?
