he saw her with him.

laughing harder than she was with him.

having more fun than she was with him.

and worst of all,

loving harder than when she was with him.

"let's break up." she said.

"why?" he asked.

"you know the reason, i've already made it very clear." she said.

"what is it?" he asked.

"it's not right to stay with someone who cares for you more than you care for that person. and it's not right to stay with someone who loves you more than you love that person." she said.

"you love him, don't you." he asked.

"yes, i do love him." she said.

"you make it sound like a car accident. is this how it works?" he asked.

"what do you mean?" she asked.

"one minute you were going merrily on your way and next, out of the blue, your heart collided with someone else's and there was nothing you could do about it?" he asked.

"there's nothing i can do about it right now. you can't stop the heart from getting what it wants, right? and there is certainly no more love between us anymore. maybe, for me only, i guess" she said, and walked away.

maybe she was better off without him.

and he was better off alone.

ps. this was inspired by a book i am reading now! :)
[i decided to make this chapter different. you can imagine whoever you want the character to be in this story! i hope you guys like this even tho it's quite crappy and cringy! i literally wrote this in 5 minutes before bed time AHAH! for me, the guy that the character broke up with would be my bias and the one that the character is seeing would be my bias wrecker! AHHA unloyal much? just a short update before updating the requests! side note: schOOl sucks]
