-3rd Person POV-

"Oh for god's sake," Dan Howell muttered sharply under his breath. He and Phil Lester stood under the canopy of their favorite Mexican restaurant, grimacing at their apparent situation. They had decided to go out on a nice date, which they hadn't been planning for too long to make it more casual, and they simply took the bus instead of paying for a cab. Their bus back, however, had just left the station right outside as Dan and Phil rushed to catch it, only to have failed and return to the entrance to the run-down place.

Phil stuck his hands out from under the safe-spot, feeling the cool pellets hit his soft skin, tickling him. He giggled in delight like the optimist he was and turned to Dan quickly.

"It's so pretty! We should be out here."

Dan shook his head rapidly and pouted.

"Awe, come on Danny! It's just a little water!"

Dan huffed. "But Phil," he whined. "It's cold! And I don't want to go home all wet!"

Phil looked at his boyfriend suggestively and jumped out into the rain, spinning around and looking up at the dark grey clouds above.

Standing, now soaked to the brim proudly, he reached his hand out and motioned for Dan to take it. The man looked at him and rolled his eyes, smiling. He took his hand and put it nicely in Phil's (for he had always bragged at how well their hands fit together at any opportunity he got) and stepped out. His curly hair soaked in the water and he put his arms out a bit, taking in the moment and smiling to himself. Phil splashed in the puddles like a happy toddler and put his arms around Dan, kissing his cheek.

"See, love? Isn't this fun?" The male wiped some of the stray rainwater away from his partner's eyes and watched as he looked around anxiously.

Dan shook his head at the ray of sunshine enjoying his time in the rain and laughed, crossing his arms.

"I think it would be a lot better if we had some towels. My jumper is so expensive! I don't really have any intention of ruining it..."

Phil looked at him unamused.

"Come on! Forget the idea of being wet! Here..." Phil took both of Dan's hands and placed them around his own shoulders, placing his own around his lover's waist. He swayed with him and gave him a twirl, smiling as bright as the sun.

Dan followed along hesitantly. He was admittedly embarrassed for the first portion of the scene, but relieved himself of the feeling when Phil put his forehead on his and kissed him softly. He blushed and kissed him back, feeling every part of his mind forget all sadness and his stomach turn with butterflies.

"You're such a spork," Dan said softly.

"I know."
