"Mine." The young vampire and I said in unison. That one word I said caused an uproar. Our necklaces we're glowing, and despite only being seven, I knew what this meant.

I was soon pulled away from him, as his parents pulled him away from me. My brother gripped my arm, his childish self being replaced with a future alpha stance. My parents and I'm assuming his met in middle grounds. I tried to block out what they were saying as I looked up at my brother confused.

"W..why c..can't I go to him buba?" He sighed, looking down at me.

"Scarlett you're too young to understand." I glared as my eyebrows creased.

"Let me go!" I broke free of his grip as well as I ran towards my mate. He had to be at least my brothers age. I hugged him tightly and I felt him stiffen up.

"Little pup don't cause a scene now.." I felt him break the hug and kneel down. "I know you don't understand now, but one day everything will work out in the end." He kissed my forehead and compelled me to go back to my parents. That was the last time I saw him.
-

"Happy Sixteenth Birthday!" I groaned in pain as my mother walked into the room smiling. "Oh right, your wolf." I glared at her as I gripped onto the bedsheets in pain.

"Get out!" I yelled as immense pain filled my body. I felt my bones breaking and repairing. I watched as I grew fur, and four legs replaced my arms and my own human legs. I looked into my mirror and smiled.

I was a brown wolf, my stomach a lighter brown. I had red tints and black tints. The tip of my right ear however, was white. My brother, mom, and dad burst into my room.

"My baby is all grown up!!" My mother gushed and my father wrapped an arm around her shoulder.

"Our baby." He corrected her.

"Come on sis, let's take it for a test run." My brother changed quickly and I chased him out of the house, pouncing on his wolf. He was all black except for the dark brown on his paws, stomach, and tail. Like me the tip of his left ear, unlike mine which was the right one, was white. I pinned him down and he quickly got out from underneath and pinned me down. I growled playfully and ran back upstairs, closing my door to change. I smiled as I felt comfortable in my nike shorts and black tshirt. I walked out only to be met by my mother and father. They looked upset.

"What's wrong...?" My mother sat me on the bed and she sat beside me. My father stood in the doorway with my brother, who was now dressed.

"Hunny do you remember meeting your.. erm.. mate when you were seven?" I nodded slowly and she sighed. "Well you are sixteen now meaning it's time for you to go to him..." I stood up and started to pace.

"I'm not leaving you guys. Plus what if he hates me now that we're older? And I just got my wolf today mom, I just truly became part of this pack." I tried to list out all the reasons why I shouldn't go and she hugged me tightly. I felt my father and brother hug me also.

"We are to meet them at the Blood River at three. It's two now. You have ten minutes. We're driving so pack a suitcase for clothes and grab your backpack for anything else." She kissed my cheek and walked out.

I sighed as I pulled out my suitcase wich expanded if needed. Although I didn't want to leave, a part of me wanted to meet him again. I packed five tshirts, two hoodies, three pairs of pants, two pairs of leggings, socks and undergarments. I also made sure my makeup stuff fit as well as one pair of Adidas and one pair of black Nikes fit. In my bag I grabbed my charger, my headphones, and my laptop as well as my favorite book. I put my deodorant, and some perfume in there also. I pulled out a small box that held photos. I skimmed through them, smiling at old memories before putting the box in my bag. I put my black hair into a pony tail and applied light makeup, really only putting on mascara.

I slipped on my socks and tennis shoes, making sure I put on deodorant and perfume on. After I brushed my teeth, I softly walked down the stairs, carrying my suit case and backpack, my phone safely between the elastic of my shorts and my underwear since I don't have pockets. We loaded the car up and I said a Final goodbye to my brother as he stayed back to watch over the pack.

The car ride was silent for the most part except for the faint music playing in the background.

"I'm going to miss you guys. I'll come and visit when I'm able to."

"We'll miss you too hunny. And remember, never do anything that would make granny Nellie upset." I nodded at my father's words as we made it to the Blood River at exactly two fifty-eight. My mom helped me unload the car and she started to tear up a bit as we all hugged eachother. I could feel my necklace heating up slowly.

"I love you guys." It was burning hot and I winced as I had to take it off quickly. "Ow.." I knew he was here though because of it.

"I love you too baby." My mother hugged me tighter.

"Love ya pumpkin." My dad kissed my forehead before sending me over the bridge to my mate. My breath hitched in my throat as I looked at him. This was no longer the boy I remember in my dreams. He was about 6'4 and his dark brown eyes matched well with his brown hair. He was muscular but not too muscular.

"We meet again, Little Pup."
