**Mikaylla's POV**
Yesterday was Mark's funeral and I don't think any of us have fully processed anything that has happened. However, today Marissa and I go back to work and Watson is going to school.
"I can't do this. I'm such a mess" Marissa said
"At least try to go, and I'll go get Watson if that's what I have to do, but just sitting here isn't going to help you or Watson. You have to move on. Even if it is hard"
"How'd you get so smart"
"I learned from the best"
Marissa smiled "ok, let's do this"
An hour later
"I'm glad your back" Josh said as I walked in
"Me too"
"Look, I'm sorry I kissed you I don't know what came over me"
"Its ok, but I'm not looking for any type of relationship."
"Me either."
"Good, because I need to talk to you about Ryan"
Josh smirked "What did you two do"
"Ew! Nothing I would never-"
"Oh come on I know you two slept together"
"Well, he sent me this message on Instagram and I want to reply but I don't know what to say"
"I don't know either. Just say thank you?"
I nodded "Good idea"
**Ryan's POV**
Mikaylla and I are meeting up for dinner tonight. I'm honestly surprised she even replied to my message
"Surpise!!!" Kaitlyn came into my room with her bags
"Hey, I wasn't expecting you"
"Yeah, I wanted to surprise you. Maybe we can go out to dinner."
"Can I make a phone call real quick and then we'll go out?"
"Uh, sure"
I kissed her cheek and walked outside
"Hey Ryan" Mikaylla answered
"Hey Mikaylla. I gotta cancel tonight. Something came up"
"Oh, ok. I guess we'll just reschedule"
"I'm so sorry, Mikaylla"
"Its fine. Good night, Ryan"
I hung up with Mikaylla and walked back in
"There's another girl, isn't there Ryan" Kaitlyn said as I walked in
"Not exactly. We slept together once, but I met you and she kinda disappeared. Her brother in law just died so I was going to take her to dinner. Just to talk"
"Look, Ryan, I flew down here to tell you that I've met someone else"
"So, we're breaking up?"
"I'm sorry Ryan. You're a great guy, but the distance things really isn't working for me"
"I agree."
"I guess I'll go"
I nodded "see you around"
"Its over, huh" Jamie asked just as I shut the door
"Yeah, don't worry though. I'm still gonna move out"
"You don't have to you know"
"I know, but I want my own space"
"So, what's your plan for this evening?"
"Nothing now. You?"
"Well, I'm gonna go watch movies with Ricky. You should go see Mikaylla"
Jamie got her cup and went upstairs with Ricky.
I drove to Mikaylla's apartment. She gave me the address because I was suppose to pick her up.
I knocked on the door and Mikaylla's sister answered
"Oh, is Mikaylla here?"
"Yeah, she is I'll go get her come inside"
