Introduction

Welcome to the Wine Reading Reviews! Whether you're an aspiring author or writing for fun, if you're looking for someone to review your work with a more critical eye, then you've come to the right place!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Cara. I have been writing on Wattpad for a little over six years. During this time, I've judged over 20 writing contests here on Wattpad, and have been a reviewer/critic for various writing groups. Before joining WP, I've reviewed and edited everything from stories to high school essays to magazine articles.

However, these experiences are nothing without the most crucial point, and that is I LOVE TO READ! Books have been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember. I mean, I'm no Belle...

... but in my spare time, you'll find me with my head buried in a book or eyes glued to my Kindle.

Anyways, getting back to business...

Why did I choose the name "Wine Reading?" It's such an odd name for a review book, right? Well, I came up with the name based on two of my favorite things in the world: wine and reading. I'm no expert on wine, but one of my favorite things to do is relaxing at home with a book and a glass of red wine. It may sound boring to some, but for an introvert like me, it's the perfect way to spend an evening.

I believe reading a book is like drinking wine. You can't just drink it in one gulp or chug it down like beer. Instead, you take it one sip at a time and gradually let everything sink in, all the while enjoying the different layers of the wine and appreciating the winemaker's efforts.

The same can be said for reading a book. You cannot rush it or skim through the pages. You need to take the time to read carefully and analyze everything. In time, you get to understand what the writer is trying to express, the story behind the story, and you learn to appreciate the quality and purpose of the book.
