"So, you made any friends yet?" Noelle quirks an eyebrow through the computer screen, and I can see that she is genuinly curious.

"Well, yea, I guess." I tell her before continuing, "I met this girl named Ayla and she introduced me to her friends, Jack and Malcolm."

A silence follows, and I can see Noelle is im deep thinking.

"Those names sound familiar." She notes, and I scrunch up my face in confusion. "Aren't they in that band...Cal something, with Finn Wolfhard?"

Holy shit.

I quickly pull out my phone, searching the three names, and sure enough the band name Calpurnia pops up.

How did I not know that Finn was in a band? I mean, I've literally stalked him and yet I didn't know such in important part of his life.

And now I'm hanging out with his band mates.

Literally a month ago I would never have thought that my life would go this way. Talking to Finn. Hanging out with his band mates. Moving to Vancouver. This is all so much.

"Jesus." I whisper, running a hand through my hair. "Listen Noelle, I gotta' go, say hi to Ron and Jake for me." I tell her, and before she can protest, I end the Skype call, closing my laptop.

I quickly unlock my phone, going to Instagram as I send Finn a dm.

told me you're in a band?

are in the same school as me?

and I don't know which High School
you go to but I'm guessing you go
to King Grey High?

itsmaddie: well, I didn't know..
and I indeed go there

Ayla, Jack and Malcom?

we're friends idk
