Tony's Galas were..... unique. There was always one fight, possibly more, at least one cop would arrive and everyone ended up trashed the next day, you'd expect a fancy party with rich people laughing about rich things but Tony Stark knew how to party and since most of this friends were enhanced in some way, it took a lot of alcohol to get them drunk. That's why Y/N hid away every party, she wasn't one to show off her looks and galavant around the house with her stunning dress. Mostly she hated the party's because of all the strangers there.

"So where are you going tonight?" Natasha asked. She was the only one Y/N trusted enough to tell why she hated the party's, Natasha understood and didn't try and convince her to stay, even though she would love to see Y/N drunk.

"I'll probably go to a motel and stay there until tomorrow. I told Tony that I had a mission." I say as she mindlessly flipped through the magazine pages she held. She felt the bed shift and look up to see her friend sitting down and looking at her with a small smirk spread across her face.

"It's a shame. I would love to see you dance around that big dance floor, possibly do the worm." Natasha stated, Y/N laughed at the thought of her trying to do the worm.

"That would be something Tony would never let me live down." She days and turns her attention back to the magazine.

"Hey guys." they both looked up and saw Tony at the door.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Nat whispers only loud enough for Y/N to hear.

"Why aren't you ready?" He asks, Nat stands and tells him she's going to get ready now and leaves. Y/N expects Tony to leave as well but when he doesn't she raises a brow to him.

"Need help with something?" She ask, Tony crosses his arms and leans against the doorway.

"You should get ready too." He says, the girl shakes her head and opens her mouth to tell him the lie about the mission but Tony quickly adds in another comment "I know you don't have a mission."

Shit.

"And who told you I didn't?" She asks keeping her calm, she knew that if Tony was bluffing he would force her to go.

"I overheard you and Nat just then." He states, the girl sighs and tucks some of her hair behind her ear.

"Tony, I just don't want to go, besides I'm sure it will be much more fun if I'm not there." She says with a smile, when Tony doesn't smile back, she places the magazine on her bedside table.
