Chapter 8 " help me "

" uh Nia don't look up but their is this guy staring at you in the blue hoodie, and its creeping me out. I'm about to call the cops "

Even though Marley told me not to I still did anyway seeing Rock.

He was standing alongside with two other guys.

" I-I know who that is "

" really ? "

" yes he works in the same building as we do " I said

" ohhh him" she said

Although he probably didn't want to speak to me at the moment but I did.

I felt like I owe him apology for Ashton behavior.

" I think I'm going to go speak to him "

I felt comfortable to go speak to him since Ashton is out of town on a business trip.

" you mind covering for me "

" I guess so girl since the crowd is dying down " she said

I walked towards the three men.

" hi " I said to Rock who was giving me the cold stare.

I looked down at my feet.

I deserve it.

" wassup " he said clearing his throat.

" I-I apologize for my um my friend actions towards you "

I couldn't consider Ashton boyfriend what.

" you good ma , you ain't gotta do that "

I didn't know what to say afterwards.

" yo Rock you ain't gone introduce us " the guy with dreads and golds in his mouth said.

To me that is the most unattractive thing to ever do.

He was standing aside by another guy who had cornrows that were neatly done.

Rock smack his teeth looking at both man.

" uh Nia this is Kane and Dub "

" might I say you are very beautiful " the Dub guy said grabbing my hand but Rock pushed it away.

" chill out " he said to him with all seriousness.

" my bad " he said holding his hands up.

The two guys left going to get some soup giving me and Rock some privacy.

We sat by on a bench close to the set-up where Marley was. I still kept an eye on her.

" so how you and yo boy meet ? "

" A party her brother was having " I said acknowledging Marley.

" well hopefully he treating you right " Rock said with a smirk on his face.
