A Colorless World

My eyes have stopped seeing the beauty of this world

I can no longer retain the colors that swirl.

The black and the grays dull up my senses, until it's all I can see.

Sometimes I want too scream until it comes back to me.

Living in a colorless world, is a lot like living in a lie.

I don't see the beauty but there is a lot of it too hide.

I have nothing nice to say about the daisys you grew, or the sky's new blue.

Have I just given up? Or have I seen the truth.

How much is there for me too find?

Living in a word so colorless,

I didn't know how much there was for me to use.

Living in a colorless world
It's a lonely place to be

It's just population one,
And it's only me.
