So this is kind of a lesson on some terminology of programming and hacking that you should know before you touching your keyboard.
Lesson 1
First of all, there's different types of hackers and programmers that creates the culture around
Black Hat Hackers:
These guys are the people in the press, who hack websites and social engineer for people's account. These people usually go for self gain economically or for 'power' it's cliché way to go and can get you into some serious bother, but I'm not stopping you. They usually find a error in a peice of code and exploit it.
White Hat Hackers :
These are the good guys, There the ones who are usually penetration testers (if you laughed there I'm disappointed in you) but they test websites and apps for errors and mishaps in a peice of code and tell the company about it usually referred to as a Ethical Hacker.
This can land you in some serious cash as you can work with big companies as in Spotify, Mastercard or working for security firms.
Gray Hat Hackers:
These guys are the reality, these people dabble in illegal and legal activities for maybe work or for curiosity it's a not so much used saying as usually people pick either white or black but it's something to think about.
Hacktivists:
These people hack for their views and for there vision. They usually do it for social views on situations or things that aren't right. One example is anonymous who hack for freedom on the Internet and for the people I personally agree with everything they do and have hacked big firms and places for the small man this line is a very rightious path however can be filled with unexpected and illegal activitiy, Be ready.
Script Kiddies:
God where do I begin?,
These are the people who hack and have no passion for the community.
They steal scripts from others instead of creating their own sophisticated scripts by hand.
They usually do it to impress there friends and to act powerful.
If you are a beginner it doesn't mean your a script kiddie, if you have the drive to give to the community and to learn your craft then that's perfectly okay and study codes and figure out how they do it.
