"I feel as if I don't even matter or exist!!! That's why everybody treats me like shit!", she muttered at the empty sidewalks.

It was late and nobody really passed through here but maybe a car or two now and then. A stop sign was all that would be there. At the end of the lonely road was nothing but abandoned buildings. So many times she wished her life was different. However in reality, this was her life. Alone and homeless. An emotional lump began to form in her throat as she slid down a brick wall, crying and questioning her fate.

"I know I'm not supposed to question you but why me? What have I done SO wrong to where I have no family? Where am I supposed to go? Where is the family that everyone else has?! Why don't I have it? God, if you hear me, please show me a sign!! Just give me something or someone to have faith in. A person can only go through so much before they crumble.", Alicia slowly cried as she saw the empty street in front of her, hopeless and miserable.
