FLASHBACK #3
"Oh no, he found out I knew about Renee cheating on him" Abbey said to herself as Tyler paced back and fourth.
"I was going to tell you just then!" Abbey said trying to control her anger. He stopped pacing and shot an icy glare at her.
"Tell me now, after three fucking weeks?!" he cursed. She looked at him in utter disgust. His eyes had turned from a lightish blue to a dark deep cobalt.
"What do you mean three weeks?" Abbey asked in confusion. "Who was on the phone?"
"Rose" he replied. Rose was Abbey's best friend. Well so she thought. She kinda has had the biggest crush on Tyler since high school.
"So you believe what Rose said? About me knowing for three weeks that Renee was cheating on you?" She questioned him, a little hurt. "Did we not just talk about you knowing I wouldn't lie to you?!" He looked at Abbey. This time his expression softened.
"Of course not" he sighed."How long have you known?" he asked.
"A week today" Abbey told him, her eyes lowering to her feet.
"Why didn't you tell me straight away?"
"You wouldn't of believe me without some sort of proof" she answered. "I don't know how long she has been sneaking around for..." Abbey told him, pulling out her phone and showing Tyler the photos. She watched his expression change from dismay to realisation.
"No, no, no, no. How could I have been so freaking stupid!" he shouted. Abbey gave him a sideways glance. He was acting like a teenage girl. Abbey brought him into a hug and squeezed him tight.
"It wasn't your fault. She was the stupid one" she whispered in his ear. He pushed her aside and massaged his temples.
"No she was actually really fucking smart!" he shouted, making his hands into fists.
"What?!" Abbey questioned, a worried look on her face.
"I need to clear my head" he said, walking to the door. He grabbed his car keys from the TV unit and turned the door handle. Abbey walked up to him and clutched his arm.
"Not angry like this you're not" she said. He sighed again and turned towards her.
"Abbey, you have no freaking clue what is going on. So I-"
"Exactly! I don't have any idea!" she shouted, interrupting him. "But you'd think you would have the decency to tell me" she pleaded. His eyes dropped to the floor and he felt a swarm of guilt filling his head. He hated when he got angry like this. Especially when Abbey was involved. He debated with himself, not sure if it was right to get her involved with the messed up situation. He looked back up at her, studying her face. Her green eyes were glassy and her bottom lip was trembling. Her long blonde hair cascading down her back like silk.
"She's beautiful, even when she's upset" he thought to himself. He had to tell her.
"Abbey, Renee and I...well we were never" he tried to start, but the situation got him angry again. He shook his head and snatched his arm away from her hand. "Forget it!" he raged, opening the door and slamming it as he walked out. Abbey threw her hands in the air with frustration, not bothering to even chase after him. She trudged slowly to his couch and buried her face in her hands before thinking that it probably wasn't the best idea to let him drive so angry...
