"It's very important, I'll wait," Glen told him as the man nodded his head. "I'll let you know the moment she becomes available." He promised Glen as Glen turned around and went to sit on one of the benches near the reception desk.
It was almost two hours later, which had gotten him even more worked up and agitated. All sorts of ideas were running through his mind when the guy walked up to him. "If you'll follow me please?" he asked Glen as he jumped up and followed him through the 'Personel only' door.
He came to the same familiar wooden door from two days ago. "Just knock on the door sir." the man told him as Glen thanked him before walking up to the door and knocked. "Come in." he heard her familiar voice reply as he opened the door. He watched as she was gathering stuff from the meeting table opposite her desk. He watched as she lifted her head with a smile on her face, which immediately turned into a glare.
"What are you doing here?" She demanded, a glare on her face as she stormed to her desk and turned over a few frames on her desk. Not hiding any more love, I already know.' he thought to himself.
"Why didn't you tell me I had a son?" He hissed through his teeth as leant over her desk, her hand balled into fists.
"God you finally remembered you had a son," she said in a mocking tone, shaking her head from side to side before she lifted a folder to her left and opened it as she sunk into her chair.
"I never knew I had a son." he bellowed, his voice resonating off the walls as she jumped in her chair, not having expected Glen to raise his voice.
"Yes you did," she noted with a tired voice like she was going to be repeating this over and over again. She'd given him plenty of chances to let him know and to let him be in his son's life.
"When I found out I was pregnant I tried calling you and texting you. But your number was out of service by that time. Then I called your management for a week, several times a day to talk to you. When they asked why, I finally gave in on the fourth day and told them I was pregnant with your child." she told him with glaring eyes as she rose from her chair during her speech, her hands resting on her desk. Both of them leaning towards each other with anger. How dare he come in here like that and accuse her she hadn't let him know?
"I gave up after another week. You wouldn't come to the phone or call me back. They told me you were busy on tour and would call me back when you had time." she told him through gritted teeth as she felt all the pent-up anger from all those years rise up. Her blood at boiling point as she looked into the face of the man she'd lost her heart to. She'd never believed in love at first sight, but four weeks of knowing someone and she'd lost her heart. To then find out that she had a piece of him growing inside of her, it had been tough. It was hard not to resent and love him at the same time. Glen, on the other hand, could see the fire in her eyes and was convinced if her eyes had been bullets, he'd be dead on the ground.
"No one ever told me," he told her in a disbelieving tone, no one would have kept something like that from him. "They would have told me if someone had reached, telling them they were pregnant with my child," he yelled as she jumped up again from the volume of his voice and the fact that he hit the desk with his fist in anger and frustration. "So I'm not the only one?" she asked rhetorically. "Good to know," she said and she couldn't hide the hurt in her voice as she shook her head. Looking down at her desk she tried to hide the tears in her eyes. All those years she'd kept the hope that she hadn't been another notch on his belt, apparently, she had been. They had meant something to her, but apparently not to him.
"You would have been the only if you had actually called," he told her with a frustrated tone.
"I called," she said in a menacing tone, lifting her head to look at him. "They made it very clear to me I wasn't to call back and I wasn't going to get any answers anyway," she told him as she threw her hands up.
