HI! This is a song I've written. Wala lang tono at kung ano ano pa. Biglaan lang. Wrote this in about 30 minutes. I just want to share this! :) Sorry for all the errors!

YOU LET GO

Everyday and every season changes,
All alone you sit in the corner,
Thinking about withstanding the darkness,
People asked you from time to time,
Hoping to make you feel alright...
So you maintained that bright smile,
Even though little by little you are losing your mind.

They always say time will heal everything,
But in your case, time grips you and suffocates you, then it'll break you.
You couldn't tell anyone, because they'll take it as a joke, then compare you.
Then you realize, keeping it in yourself is better than looking pathetic in the eyes that stares at you.

Holding on too tight, became the source of pain,
Being alone at night, your mind couldn't be tamed.
I don't know the words, and melodies to comfort you,
And I know staying by your side wouldn't mean you'd stay too.

Because...

You are already deaf,
From all the: It's going to get better,
It's not a bad life, it's just a bad day.
You are already blinded,
By the lights reflecting in your eyes,
So when darkness came, it just felt familiar,
Although you wanted to escape,
You are already mute,
Couldn't even utter the words save me,
Because from all these thoughts, and battles,
All you wanted was to feel nothing rather than being happy,
Because you are too tired to feel the pain,
And deep in my heart... I know...
You lost the reason to live,
So you chose to let go,
Rather than tightening the grip that causes your suffering.
You chose to let go.

You suddenly let go... of the chains,
You suddenly let go... of your worries,
You suddenly let go... of your fears,
You suddenly let go... of your pain,
You suddenly let go... maybe, with tears in your eyes.

They blabbed about all your reputation,
Talked about the things you left, and the decisions you've made,
Isn't it funny? I thought you were fine,
Because you laughed in between my jokes and nonsense lines,
You hang around with people with a warm harmony,
You prioritize other's well being, before yours,
Giving them all the love you could ever give,
But little did I know, you gave it all and never left anything for yourself,
You gave your brightest smile and greet them in the morning,
So it never occurred that you could just left,
Silence and blankness was all that I felt,
Would not believing it, lessen the pain?
Would accepting it, could make all the things you've left worth it?

Now I know, even the happiest and kindest character,
Says goodbye... suddenly, and then... could be gone completely.

Could reach others too,
But sometimes... it could be late,
Sometimes, no matter how hard you run,
You could just miss your last shot,
Then you decide to stop.
Then suddenly let go of the pain...
then take a step, without turning back...
and maybe that is where you could truly be happy,
Even though you knew my heart would break.
Because that is when I realized...
it's time for you to choose yourself,
And stop... looking back at me...
yeah, it's fine, stop looking back at us.

Because from that moment... I knew...
