Little note $1!!
this is completely different than the original version of Jade's backstory
it's also quite rideculous, but I'm quite clichélittle note #2, may 7- Jade's backstory has been changed! That and her powers. I'm just leaving this and her old powers here because memories
//oh whoops guess who said they were publishing this a while ago and never did//
-she was born in Cobh, County Cork, Ireland in 1896
-dang that was a long time ago
-she basically lived through the times of tension between the nationalists and the unionists, and was very involved in getting ireland /some/ sort of freedom, even though she didn't get to see it happen
-she died in 1910
-her retelling of the details are quite hazy, but it was quite in the style of Mallory keen
-she died in a bombing in god-knows-where, she only knew she was quite far from home
-and she got to the underworld and ended up in Asphodel
-untiilllLLL (and t h i s i s w h e r e i t g e t s c l i c h é !)
-melinoe (that creepy death lady who was mentioned once in a pjo short story) started looking for new victu-, no, prodigies.
-basically, as she was the goddess of nightmares and all things death, dark, and scary, she wanted spirits to reek havoc on the mortol world
-basIcallY Jade did that for like 100 years until she decided "screw this being spooky isn't fun"
-and she and like 2 other people decided they'd see what would happen if they just didn't come back by daybreak
-long story short, don't ask me how it happenED CAUSE I DONT KNOW, it worked. they were aliiiiiive
-jade, with many, many bumps along the way, managed to meet SKY just out of new York city
-at a bookstore
-where she basically looked homeless
-god bless sky, she took Jade in, cleaned her up, and took her to Long island
-sky didn't know about her being a demigod or why Jade was going to Long island, but sky showed up later and all was wellLl
-and yeah nobody really knows about it except a couple people (Liv, yuvs, olive(?)) all they know is she has a slight Irish accent and sometimes doesn't know words
and holy crap was that cringey and so so cliché
