{Kyungsoo p.o.v}

"Hey i.. uh.. i'll be right back."

I pushed passed sehun and ran out of the building as fast as i could. We had just finished the fan sign but i didn't care. I just need to make sure Kai's okay.

"Where are you going?" Our manager raced up from behind me and stopped me in my tracks, grabbing me by the wrist.

"My friends in hospital i have to go see him." The thought of him hurt was almost too much too handle.

"But you haven't.."

Our manager stopped mid way through his sentence as i couldn't hold in my tears anymore.

"Okay follow me," He grabbed my hand and pulled me through a group of fans who had stayed after the fan sign. "Which hospital is he in?"

"The one closest to here." My lips trembled as the words left my mouth, not believing this was happening, praying this wasn't happening.

While I managed to try and wipe my tears away the manager had pulled me into the van and we drove towards the hospital.

"So, not to be nosy but who's your friend?" Our manager looked down at his wrist watch and fiddled with it.

"Kai, he was on the way to the fan sign when-"

"Kai?" He stopped whatever he was doing and looked at me dead in the eyes, he looked like a deer caught in headlights.

"-He got into a car accident. and yes, Kai."

"How did you two meet?" Our manager raised an eyebrow

"Long story don't worry, are we close yet?"

Silence filled the van as i looked out the window. Five minutes had passed before we drove past the site of the crash. I covered my mouth as i saw the carnage that was left behind. There's no way he survived that. It was horrific and more tears filled my eyes.

"Were almost there."

I just nodded and closed my eyes hoping that Kai was okay, why did i feel like this? We had only been talking for a month, why did i care about him so much?

We got to the hospital and i raced inside calling kai's phone, hopefully someone would answer telling me where he was.

"Hello?"

"Hey its me, umm.. squishy, where are you and Kai?"

"Were on the second floor on the third wing." I heard some whispering in the background.

"Okay i'll be there in a minute." I slipped my phone in my pocket picking up the pace towards the stairs. This was my first time meeting Kai and i hated it was when he could possibly be almost dead. Well i hoped he wasn't. Running up the stairs i felt my thighs burn and my lungs filling slower and slower but i didn't have time to wait for the elevator and im almost there, just one more floor.

"Wheres Kai?" I Asked the lady at the front of the wing holding a couple of towels in her hands.

"Are you family of his?"

"Ah yes, ah.. family friend." Kai's sister must have heard me from the hallway because she raced out of the room. Her eyes were red, she had been crying for some while. Her arm was also in a cast, the crash must have been horrible, i couldn't even imagine how Kai was doing, and at this point i tried not too.

"It's okay he's with us." She ran over grabbing me and pulling me into the room. My heart skipped a beat and the tears that had been flowing all day began to run harder, but with happiness. He wasn't perfect but he was better than i thought.

"Omg Kai." A smile came across my face as i went over to the side of the bed seeing that he was okay, well he looked okay not a scratch on him. "Is he okay?"

"Umm.. well.. he has some brain damage, well the doctors think, they need to do some more tests first. But he should be fine, he hasn't needed any support breathing or anything."

"Well i mean we can only hope right?" I looked back down at kai's flawless face as my smile started to slowly fade.
