'No.' She thought she was finally over him or so she told herself at least. She had done her best to raise their son to the best of her abilities without him.
She felt her world colliding as she laid eyes on the man resembling her son so much which was Glen Power.
"What do you want?" She snapped at him as she spun around on her heels and headed in the direction of her office inside the museum.
"I've been looking for you." He told her as he grabbed a hold of her arm. "well that's five years to late." She told him pulling her arm from his and heading forth to the museum.
"I'm sorry, I lost my phone on my way back. I couldn't remember your phone number so I didn't have any way of reaching out t you. It's not like you use social media either." He used as he ran after her, he couldn't believe he'd found the woman who'd occupied his thoughts for the better part of 5 years.
He'd met her during a break of their #3 album tour and then she vanished and he'd had no way of finding her. And then he'd seen her picture in the paper.
Opening an exhibit as the new head curator of geography department in the natural history museum. He'd left messages with her secretary but she'd never called back. So his only other idea was to wait on her at the museum. It was his third day and he was finally lucky as she was walking through the museum.
"I have nothing left to say to you." She told him as she turned around to face him, her finger digging in is chest.
"But I do." He told her reaching for her hand.
"Glen we had a holiday romance nothing more. It was five years ago I think it's time for us to move on." She told him as she finished pulling him in a secluded corner of the main hall. The last thing she wanted was to create drama in the museum.
"Yes well for five years you have occupied my thoughts. I was so happy when I saw your picture in the paper of the opening exhibit." He told her, waving his hand around as she rolled her eyes.
Damn she should have known her speech and joined picture of her with the Duchess of Cambridge would come back to bite her in the ass.
"I've moved on. You should do the same." She told him.
"I don't see a ring on your finger so I can assume you're not seeing anyone?" He asked her with a hopeful tone, their group had only grown they were just about to start their freedom child tour but he'd never been able to forget the woman in front of him.
"Kate, Arthur's school called, he fell on the ice. They're wondering if you can go pick him up." Jane her secretary said as she walked up to her with an apologetic smile.
"Arthur? You have a son?" He asked her, his head tilted in confusion.
"Yes." She told him as she'd started walking to her office to get her keys. God she hoped nothing to bad was going on with her son.
"So you did move on." He stated to which she nodded.
"Now I have to go and pick up my injured son if you'd let me." She told him, waiting outside her office. If he saw one picture of her son he'd know and she couldn't lose her son.
He'd made it clear that he didn't want anything to do with her when she tried and tried contacting him when she found out she was pregnant with his baby. Now he had the balls to stroll into her life with that excuse of losing his phone.
No way, he hadn't even asked about him, which seemed strange he should know he had a child after all with her, shouldn't he. How many messages hadn't she given to their management.
"Of course I understand." He said. " I hope to see you again." He told her as he tried to kiss her cheek, but she moved away. he gave her a sad smile, before walking off, his hands in the pockets of his jeans.So this is the first short chapter I hope it makes you curious for more to come, let me know what you think.
