There is a group of staff and important figures sitting in high-backed office chairs surrounding a glass chamber. Inside the chamber is a five-month-old child in the center of a pentagon. On each point of the Pentagon is a bowl, each filled with an element. One is a clear bowl forged of ice, filled with water. The second is a bowl of dark obsidian filled with bubbling lava. The third bowl is woven from leaves and fronds, decorated with an assortment of flowers and filled with fine soil. The fourth is simply a cloud if you could call it that. It was wisps of air floating a couple of inches from the ground. The last one was strange. It was a swirling vortex of purple, mauve and black, but contained in glass. Inside was swirling purple tendrils, harmless but intimidating. Suddenly, the room darkened. Many of the elements made to reach out to the small child, but none making it more than an inch. Then, the swirling tendrils found their way to the child, wrapping themselves around it and lifting her into the air. The child burst awake, eyes wide open. The connection between the human child and the element was certain, as the magic turned her eyes bright purple, the colour of amethysts. The child is lowered down to the ground, slowly. After the magic had receeded, people in purple uniforms swarmed in to move the child, taking her to the 0-4-year-old housing.
