Chapter 11

I wonder when will this Xavier guy wake up. My family, friends, and pack are probably worried sick right now.

It's been a week since he passed out and a week since I've been locked up in a cell. Yes, a cell, the beta had to lock me up since I was deemed a threat. Probably because of the fact that the last time I was with Xavier he screamed in agony and passed out.

I am currently cuffed, with silver, on both wrists and ankles to make sure that I won't escape easily. There are two guards outside with a gun filled with silver coated bullets and a silver coated knife just in case I somehow managed to get out of this cuffs.

Every now and then a person would bring me food and something to drink and guess what, they have two muscular men holding a knife coated with wolfsbane. So don't say that I don't put up a fight because I'm sure as hell am not stupid enough to talk back to them and get myself killed.

The door opened and the doctor from before appeared and bowed, "Good afternoon Luna, my name is Matthew Garner," he introduced himself and took out his hand to shake mine, but quickly pulled it when he saw how short the chains are.

He looks more relaxed than the last time we saw him.

"Good afternoon to you too Doctor Garner, my name is Bella Lepida." I introduced myself. I wondered why he came here, and before I can stop myself I asked him, "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be checking up on your Alpha Xavier?"

Matthew was about to say something but cleared his throat, "To answer your first question I am here to see how you have been doing, and as for your second question Alpha Xavier has been released a few days ago."

"Then what will happen to me after this?" I asked curiously. The doctor looked at me straight in the eye as if trying to prepare me for the news. "A trial will be held."

A trial?! I don't even know who this Xavier dude! All I know is that he is my mate, a creepy dude, and that he's an Alpha! Damn, I thought this only happens in those werewolf stories but I never thought it will happen in real life.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, call me weird because I read werewolf stories even though I'm a werewolf myself. But honestly I don't even care, because I enjoy those kind of stories. Those are the reasons why I want a mate. The feeling of someone loving you so deeply, someone making you feel special, making you feel safe, and someone who will stay with you.

I'm really going off track now, anyways back to reality.

I stared at him with shock with my mouth hanging open. "What? Why? I believe I didn't do anything worthy of a trial that will cost me my life!" I replied with utter disbelief.

"I believe you did Luna, since you are the one that made his whole body go numb for a week, and it is considered as something worthy of a trial. Luna or not." He explained emphasizing the last sentence.

He does have a point.

"Take me to your Alpha." I said with a hard tone. Matthew just looked at me surprised at my sudden request but nodded his head.
