•••••••••••

I was wondering around the pack house, the hallway is empty, the wall is painted in white and the bottom part is colored with red, gold and dark red patterns. And then I saw then person that I grew up with.

"Luke!" I called him, he turned his head to my direction and waved at me with a small smile. He isn't like this, he is always the one that when I call him he would run up to me and hug me like we haven't met in years. Something is definitely wrong.

I walked over to his direction. Before I can go to him and ask him why, he went to the living room. I sighed and followed him to the living room.

When I came to the living room, I saw him sitting one of the couches. I sat next to him.

"Luke, are you okay?" I asked worriedly at him he is always have this happy aura. But I know something is not right I'm sure everyone in the pack will notice it especially the kids. At this time he is outside playing with the kids. My trail of thoughts was interrupted when Luke spoke.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." He said, while looking at me with a smile looking fine but one thing that gave it away was his eyes. They were filled with sadness and.... hurt?

"I have known you Lucas Acosta since we were babies and I know when something is wrong. Now spill." I demanded while using his full name, he knows when I called him by his full name he needs to say what is wrong or happening or else something will happen and he knows he won't like it very much.

"I'm fine really no need to ask." He said with the same tone and face with a matching sadness in his eyes. 'I think he thinks that you didn't noticed it.' My wolf Seva, concluded. 'Yeah me too.'

"Belle?" Luke said looking at me curiuosly and worried. I tilted my head to the side and looked at him questionly. Yeah, he called me Belle because he said that Bella is too long to say when Bella and Belle have the same number of letter.

"What?" I asked him. He looked confused on why I asked him but he answered anyway.

"I am calling you for the past 5 minutes, are you alright?" He asked worriedly.

"Yeah, just talking to Seva." I answered him honestly since he will immediately find out when I am lying.

"Okay, good." He said. With a small sad smile.

"Now that you know. It is your time to tell what is happening to you, because this time you are still playing with the kids and looking all happy but now you look sad. Now tell me why." I demanded him.

"Yes, mother," he said emphasizing the word mother but I can't blame him though. "I already found my mate." I squealed because he always wanted a mate since we are young him telling me what he is gonna be with his mate and what are they gonna do and trust me there is no day that he never talked about having a mate we both do it so it's only fair.

I notice that he is still sad when he said he already found his mate. "Why are you sad? You always said that when you found her you will run to me like a leopard." I asked him, trying to lighten him up by the end. Which did, but only a little.

"She... She is," he stopped face still filed with sadness.

"She is?" I asked.

"She is Ellie Agosti!" He yelled at me excitedly. Smiling like a kid given a chocolate.

"Wow! Congrats Luke!" I congratulated him and pulled in a tight hug. Ellie is Luke's biggest cush since childhood and always wanted her to be his mate. Me, Ellie and Luke have been best friends since diapers and know each other very well. I broke the hug and looked at him curiously.
