Umiling ako sa kanya. "Hindi. Naisip ko lang. We're not using any protection so there's a possibility that you could get me pregnant."
"When was the last time you had your menstruation?"
"Hindi ko na matandaan exactly. Irregular kasi yung menstruation ko kaya minsan hindi ako nagkaka-period for two to three months."
"Okay."
I frowned at him. "Anong okay?" Natatakot na talaga ako. Kasi kung mabuntis man ako, ano yung assurance ko na hindi niya kami pababayaan ng magiging anak namin?
"I'll take you to another place if that happens. You can't have your pregnancy in this kind of place. It will be dangerous for you and for the baby."
Biglang kumabog yung dibdib ko sa mga sinabi niya. Ibig bang sabihin nun, kahit mabuntis ako ay aalagaan pa rin niya ako? That he would love and support our baby? Hindi ko mapigilan yung sarili ko na umasa. Who knew, baka yung baby ang makapag-trigger sa kanya para magbago na talaga siya.
He pulled me against his body. He covered our bodies with the comforter before he took my hand to wrap my arm around him. He embraced me afterwards. "You should sleep now, princess. I know you're already drained. Your eyes are already droping."
I closed my eyes. "Goodnight, Ryder," I whispered softly. I opened my eyes again when he gently held my chin and tilted my face up. Napangiti ako nang halikan niya yung mga labi ko.
"Goodnight, my princess."
Hindi ko talaga inakala na kaya palang maging ganito ka-sweet ni Ryder. Malayong-malayo dun sa Ryder na una kong nakilala. Parang nawalan na tuloy ng saysay sa akin yung pangarap kong maging fashion designer dahil binigyan ako ni Ryder ng panibagong mga pangarap.

I woke up the next day when I felt someone kissing my lips.
"Wake up now, my princess."
Napangiti ako nang marinig ko yung boses na yun. My heart automatically started beating fast. I opened my eyes and saw him lying on his stomach beside me while staring in my face. Nakabihis na siya at basa na rin yung buhok niya. Parang ang sarap yakapin dahil humahalo sa hangin yung manly scent niya fresh from taking a bath.
"Effective palang pampagising yung halik ng mga prinsipe," I told him.
He cocked his brow. "Now you're already regarding me as a prince samantalang noon beast and demon ang tingin mo sa akin."
"Eh kasi mabait ka na sa akin eh."
He went on top of me, hovering himself before he buried his face against the crook of my neck and started kissing it.
"Ayan ka na naman, big bad Ryder. Di ka pa ba nagsawa kagabi?"
He lifted his head to look at me. "I didn't. In fact I still want to pull this comforter off your nāked body and bathe my côck again inside your warmness but I guess I already exhausted you too much last night. Past nine na kasi at kung hindi pa kita ginising ay mukhang hanggang mamayang gabi na yung tulog mo."
"Sabihin mo, na-miss mo lang yung luto ko at mag-breakfast na kasama ako."
"Parang ganun na nga." Yumuko siya at hinalikan ako ulit sa mga labi bago umalis sa ibabaw ko at umupo sa tabi ko. "Get up already, princess. I still need to prepare. I'll bring you somewhere this afternoon."
"Saan?"
"You'll now later."
"Pa-suspense ka pa diyan! Babalik ba tayo sa waterfalls?"
