Behind The Fake Smiles

Slowly dying

As my heartbeat slows down
Laying down in a hospital bed
Would you care ?
As I'm slowly dying from the pain
You're out there living
While I'm here lifeless
as Pale as the walls in this depressing room
With these wires hanging up my body
As every needle stings
Like a cut made
As my heart beat stops
And my heart monitor starts beeping
And I'm no longer alive
Would you miss me ?
Would you notice that I'm even gone ?
Would you forget about our memories ?
Or simply throw them out the trash
