ESCAPE (ENGLISH POEMS)

BLIND

I smiled when I saw you walking toward the stairs
I was silently hiding my giggle whenever you were giving me some glares
I was lost for a moment and then suddenly reality came in
You never noticed me that's why I asked if there's something within?

Destiny never gave me the chance to let my feelings out
'Coz every time I wanted to approach you, I feel doubt
You don't even know me nor talk to me at once
That's why I asked again if there's something within me that should be enhanced?

Days have passed but still, the same routine
I was silently observing you from a far doing the usual scene
But again, you didn't notice me and still unseen
But I believe that God has a plan, string will going to connect us between

Later on, I feel so busy
I don't know why but my time gets a little bit heavy
Should I say it's a miracle because I didn't follow you for a week?
And I guess these busyness helped me to lessen my hobby which is to sneak

Sometimes I already forget about you
Maybe I feel hopeless that you'll going to like me too
Little by little I'm trying to digest and accept the fact that we are not meant for each other
I hope one day, you're already out in my heart so I won't be bothered

But then again, destiny played with us
I was walking and yes, we crossed our path- I accidentally cussed
You leave me a face with a meaningful smile and sparkling eyes
I am not sure if that was meant for me but I don't care 'coz my heart has turned into bigger size

I thought I already had the chance
After that scenario I assumed that our feelings were balanced
But no, here I am standing frozen in front of the window glass
Wiping my unstoppable tears while staring at you with a girl cuddling in your arms

I immediately turn my back and run as fast as I can
Blurry way, I don't care as long as I am running away; away from pain and be gone
I'll escape to a place which is far from hoping, expecting, far from you, and no one can find
I knew it! I wish I didn't chase you, I wasn't mistaken, ever since you are blind.
