adding a gif to graphics

[ step eleven ]

we're almost done!

last thing you need to do before saving is go back over to the timeline window

across the bottom of the timeline window there's all these settings

click on the second one from the left, the one in the red circle below, it says "once" currently, and change it to "forever"

this setting controls how many times you gif loops

generally, you want a gif to keep looping so "forever" is the setting it should be set on and it's the setting I always use

if you only want your gif to play once, you can leave it on "once" or if you only want the gif to loop three times you can change it to "3 times"

[ step twelve ]

now it's time to save it!

go up to file, click on it, go down to "save for web", and click on that

[ step thirteen ]

this window should pop up after you click on "save for web"

make sure that the box in the red circle says gif

if it doesn't, click on it and change it to gif

[ step fourteen ]

  click "save", which is at the bottom of the window in the image above, and then name and save your gif wherever you wish :D
