[ step one ]

  super simple: open your gif

also, if it isn't already open, open whatever graphic you want to add the gif too 


[ step two ] 

  highlight all the layers of your gif

then hold down shift and click the little folder to put them in a group

you don't have to name the folder, but I usually name it "gif" just to stay organized
