“Does ice tea sound good to you all,” Joey asks. We all nod our heads yes. “Four glasses of ice tea.”

“Coming right up,” the waiter says.

I look at my menu and my eyes widen looking at the prices of the food. “Wow, um, everything is kind of pricey, don’t you think,” I ask.

“Don’t worry,” Joey says. “Cat and I will pay for everything.”

Joey's POV

Cat leans into my ear and whispers, “We will?”

I whisper back, “Yeah, it’s the least we can do for them helping us out earlier.”

“You sure there’s no other reason,” Cat whispers.

“What do you mean,” I whisper with a confused look.

“You know,” Cat says using her eyes to gesture to Connor.

“Of course not,” I whisper as my face turns slightly red.

“What’re you two talking about,” Ricky asks.

“Oh, we’re just talking about how we’re going to be working here,” Cat says quickly with a smile.

Connor's POV

“So this is the restaurant you two were talking about,” I say. “That’s pretty cool!”

“When will you be starting,” Ricky asks.

“Monday, next week,” Joey answers. “Anyway, let’s get something to eat. How about we get a pizza?”

“Okay,” Ricky responds. “How about pizette, they’re small and there’s enough for everyone.”

“Sounds good to me,” I say.

“Us too, it's really good,” Cat says.

Our waiter comes back with a tray of ice teas. “Here you go guys. Have you decided on what you want to eat,” he asks.

“Yeah, we want the pizette,” Cat says.

            “Excellent choice,” the waiter says.

We hand the waiter our menus and start drinking our ice teas and chatting while we wait on our food. “So why’d you two move to LA,” Cat asked.
