The rest of the time in the waiting room I would talk with des or cole or cry into coles shoulder. While Dee would talk to Chey and David and the other guys talked amongst themselves.
Dr- you're all for gabe right
L- is he alright
D- can we see him
Dr - we managed to get the bullet out of his ribcage however he's already lost a lot of blood so it's not looking very well
D- well can't someone donate blood to him
Dr- I'm afraid the amount he would need would just end up killing the one donating I'm very sorry
L- so there's absolutely nothing that could happen to save his life
Dr- I'm afraid not but you may go in one at a time to say your goodbyes
L- alright thank you doctor
Dalton went back there first as I cried into coles shoulder yet again. People kept switching turns and now cole was back there and Dee had just came back.
D- I was right
L- meaning
D- he was focused on you not the guy he was fighting that's how the guy managed to shoot him
L- my brother is dying cause of me
D- yup I hope you're happy
Chey- Dee knock it off I knkw you're upset but she is as well quit doing this to her I mean she's losing her brother for Petes sake why are you trying to make her lose her sister as well
D- I I I don't know
Des- well knock it off
D- alright
We all sat there in silence then cole came back and it was my turn to go say goodbye.
L- I'm so so so sorry
G- why are you sorry
L- Dee told me it was my fault
G- it's not your fault
L- she said you were focused on me
G- yes but it's not your fault it's mine cause I was impressed with your skills I mean come on you had that guy crying out like a little girl
L- I did
G- that was awesome
L- but gabe it's still my fault
G- knock it off alright
L- alright
G- I love you sis
L- I love you too big brother
G- can you do me a favor
L- of course anything for you you know that
G- keep those boys in line and well keep the group going the way it's supposed to be
L- like continue the gang
G- yes
L- but gabe that's your gang
G- not anymore
L- you're sure you want me to be the new leader not Dalton or cole
G- nope its going to be you
L- ok
G- thank you
L- you're welcome
I sat there with him a little longer talking about random things then I noticed it was getting harder for him to do anything so I said my goodbye and I got one back then I heard the machine flat line so I got out of there. As soon as I got out to the group they all stood up with their arms wide open for a group hug.
D- I'm sorry sis I didn't mean any of it I love you I can't lose you too
L- it's ok sis I can't lose you either and I love you too
When we all broke apart cole kept me to his side to help me and we went back to my house and be stayed the night with me cause he didn't want me to be alone. I love this boy more than anything.
