Chapter 8

Renji's POV

I walked out the door wondering what I would do today. It wasn't like Kuchiki-Taicho to give days off. I never knew what to do on them. I could do what I first thought about and go visit Rukia..... No, she's in the world of the living. I sighed and kept walking.

"Oi! Renji!"

"Huh?"

Ikkaku and Yumichika ran towards me.

"What do you want?"

"What an ugly welcome...." I heard Yumichika whisper to Ikkaku.

"Are you busy?"

"Uh...N-no why?"

"Come train with us! Kenpachi is gonna be there too!"

"U-Uh..I think I'm just gonna-"

"Come on!" Before I knew it, Ikkaku was dragging me to the Squad 5 training grounds.

"You sick bastards..." I mumbled. I thought for a moment. I was a higher rank than them, so I could tell them off... "Ikkaku!"

We stopped running. "What is it?"

"I'm tired okay? I.. I'm not in the mood to train. Maybe next time."

They stared at me before cracking up with laughter. "Ahaha! Come on Renji! Surely you're not being serious...?"

I glared at them and started walking away. Before long I heard them laughing again. What a bunch of assholes.

Now to figure out what I was going to do.....
