Green is what everyone wants,
To save, to send, to share.
But green makes us greedy,
And gives us grey hair.
We are craving the wrong green though
For it is an addiction we feed.
We want more and more and more
But the truth is that we have,
all the green we need.
Look outside and around
At all the life and leaves
Nature is the green
that we should be receiving
We can get green in our food,
Green in our environment,
And with this, green in our soul.
Throw out that ugly, dirty green
That stains our lives
And replace it with the true, better green
In which love and nature thrives.
