Just the beginning

My name is Sophia, I live with both my Mum in a nice, simple town....so that's what I believe the town is anyway...My Appa spends most of his days talking fantasies of werewolves or vampires...all of which I don't believe in of course it's ridiculous!...little did I know that there's more to this town than anybody knows...so many mysteries and secrets that lie within the town...too many to count to be honest!

*Buzz* *Buzz* *Buzz*

I rolled over on my bed slamming my hand on my alarm that was going off for the third time this morning, I was still too tired and I felt as if the holidays went way too quick, It was time to go back to school already and well...you could say I wasn't the biggest fan off school....well who was? "SOPHIA GET UP NOW!" I sighed and rolled my eyes...sometimes my Mum drives me insane can't she leave me be to sleep! 

I threw my blanket off me and stumbled over into my bathroom and took a quick shower before then putting on my clothes and makeup then heading down to the kitchen. "Finally!...I was beginning to think you had died", I fake smiled and sat down on a chair, "Well I can only dream of that happening but I'll be sure to take the opportunity if it ever comes"

She frowned and handed me a plate with some pancakes on. I ate silently whilst flicking through my phone looking at pictures of all my old friends. My mum leaned over my shoulder casually and frowned. "You'll make new friends Y/N stop moping over the old ones!" I sighed and placed my plate into the sink before grabbing my bag from the countertop. "You know sometimes Mum it would be nice if you could be even just a little bit sympathetic towards me" She turned around arrogantly and chuckled, "I didn't raise you that way, I raised you to move on and forget..the world doesn't stop moving and neither should we now get going before you're late!" I rolled my eyes and walked out the door and down towards my new school.

Yep!..Thats right!...My new School. My Mum wanted to move away after he and my Dad split up so that's what she did and of course she just had to drag me along with her. To be honest I din't mind that much, I just missed my friend's and making new ones was something I never wanted to do.

I finally reached the school and my god was I nervous, my heart was beating about a mile a minute and it didn't exactly help when I entered the building either. All eyes were on me the second I walked in making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I just looked down slightly and tried to find my locker as quickly as I could so I could go hide in a classroom and die in the corner of the room from humiliation.

I found my locker eventually and took out some books they had prepared for me and then my timetable telling me which form group I was in. "1263" I repeated the number multiple times whilst searching practically every hallway trying to find it, but eventually I found it...of course it just had to be the furthest class away from the exit which was great, I thought sarcastically.

I hesitated for a moment then slowly entered the classroom, and once again, all eyes were on me. "A re you Sophia?" I looked to my right and a young woman Kindly greeted me and shook my hand lightly, I nodded in response. "I've been expecting you...Just take a seat at the back over there and make yourself comfortable I'm sure you'll fit right in!" I politely smiled knowing that what she said, was ballshit...I mean, what does she know about moving town, starting a new school and being the newbie!?...NOTHING!

I made my way to the back of the class were a group of boys were all whispering and one guy was looking straight at me, he was rather handsome with soft brown hair and eyes and he clearly had a figure only gils would dream of jumping up on. I smiled politely avoiding eye contact and took the seat beside him near the window. my whole body was practically screaming inside of me to just jump out of the window so I don't have to be here right now.

I turned and noticed the boy still looking at me, we made eye contact and he quickly looked away avoiding me and just twisted his pen in his hands. I chuckled and turned back to the window resting my hand on my cheek wishing I could just go home again.
