Understandable. My name is Lena and my stories have done pretty well on Wattpad. Our Strange Love got Book of the Month from the official Wattpad lgbtq account. When Best Friends Kiss was featured in October 2017 and won a Watty in 2018. I've been offered a few publishing opportunities. I've been doing this creative writing stuff for more than a decade if you exclude grade school assignments. Back in college, I majored in linguistics and TEFL. Does that mean I'm perfect? No. Does that make me better than anyone else? No. Does any of that mean you have to listen to me? Nope!
But it means I'm not some Joe Schmoe off the street who first picked up a pencil yesterday, and that's enough, right? 🤷🏾
...I hope so because I don't want my student loan debt to be for nothing.... 😅
"How does this book differ from the other bajillion writing tip books?"
Rather than giving you a list of ways to write or telling you the "right way" to write, I'll tell you how I write using examples from my own books. One of the biggest things that has helped me improve is hearing from other authors how they approach writing. What I do may not work for you. It might work great for you. But I hope at the least it will inspire you.
