Chapter 16

I went rushing over to Rece. I grabbed his face. His eyes were huge and he just stared at me. I

kissed him. It felt so good but so bad at the same time. What if he just wanted to be friends?

"Is this what you want to be?"

"What?" I questioned.

"Do you want to be more than friends?"

"Oh um... I don't know. I'm mean yes I do." I didn't know what I was doing. What if Luke and I got

back together. Oh crap what did I just do. Rece took my hand and we started going to the front of

my yard.

"Hop in." He told me.

"Wait! What do you think you're doing!" Yelled a familiar voice. It was Luke.

"What do you mean?"

"You're my girlfriend! You shouldn't be going off with some boy."

"We'll explain Kira!" I hopped in the car and we drove off." Looking back Luke kicked over a

garbage can and started walking down the street.

About five minuets later we arrive in an empty parking lot.

"What are we doing?" I asked. He started kissing me. At first I let him.

"Wait."

"What."

"I'm sorry but I'm not ready."

"Oh ok. Well another time?"

"Yah just call me." He drove me home and I went straight to my room. I slept like a baby that night.
