Chapter 13

We arrived at Apple Bee's about ten minuets later. Luke and I did the two for twenties. Which I got

the macorni and cheese. Once we finished he brought me to my house. On the kitchen counter

there was a note from my dad.

"Hey Taylor, so your mom and I are in a fight and I'm staying at a hotel. I don't want you to worry.

I will be back in a few days."

I wonder why they got in a fight. Luke and I headed downstairs. We plopped on the couch. We

rented a movie from red box. I went up stairs to make popcorn. When the popcorn was ready I

put the butter seasoning. I grabbed two sodas and headed downstairs. The movie almost started. I

a brought a big blanket for us to share.

By the end if the movie it was about 10:00.

"Wanna go to Starbucks? We have thirty minuets." I asked

"Ya, but I've never been there."

"What!? You've never been to Starbucks!" We hopped in his car and drove to Starbucks. When we

arrived it was about 10:13.

"What are you going to get?"

"I don't know I'm not a white girl and go here every other day."

"Haha I'm not a white girl, I'm just smart and know what to order." I ordered a Carmel frappiconio

and I ordered Luke a chocolate chip frappiconio. We didn't sit down. We decided to walk by the

beach since it was close. We were walking down the beach and were talking when we heard a

squeal behind us. We turned around it was some girl.

"Oh my gosh Luke! Long time no see! Remember when you told me I was the most beautiful girl

you ever seen? Oh did you tell that girl that too?"

"Whhat are you talking about? She's my girlfriend."

"Oh but remember all the good times we had together. Especially..." Luke cut her off.

"Kira stop."

"Bye Luke." I started jogging home. Once I was farther away I started walking.
