Mark's Point of View

I followed Hazel into the park.
Probably not the best idea, but I could tell she was trying to make me jealous.

It was kind of working.

Who was she going to meet that was so important.
She practically ran out of the house.

Hazel's mom never questioned her.
Neither did my mom, as I said I had to get home.

I didn't go home though.

I stood behind a tree, trying not to be seen. I didn't know if it were working or not, but I made it my top priority not to be seen.

She stood facing someone that I couldn't see. It was obviously a guy.
She was laughing, but I couldn't hear the conversation.

"What are you doing here?"
I jumped being startled.

I turned around and saw Loren standing there.
"God damnit Loren. You scared me."

"Geez, sorry." She laughed.
"Are you spying on Hazel?" She questioned.

"Keep your voice down, why don't you." I said.
"What're they doing?" She said, squinting her eyes.

"I have no idea."

Hazel stepped back and I saw who she was with.
"Awkward." Loren commented.

I shook my head in disappointment.
"Do you wanna get out of here? There's a party at Ariel's tonight." Loren said.

I nodded my head as we walked out.

Hazel's Point of View

"Yeah, I heard about the party, but I wasn't sure about going." I told Nathan.
"Let's go then." He said.
"What? Really?" I laughed.
"Yeah why not?"

I nodded my head and opened my phone.

I hit send and looked at Nathan.
I smiled and started walking out.

short chapter! but other than that.. ITS CHRISTMAS EVE!!
