"I knew it! You are asking me out." Victoria exclaimed when she spotted Noah. Instead of his regular t-shirt and jeans, he had a button-down with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a less worn out pair of jeans.
Noah's cheeks tinged pink and he looked down at his shoes. "I need to talk to you."
"That's what you said on the phone." Victoria stepped closer to him and Noah's body hummed in response.
"I really like you," he murmured, glancing at her.
"I do too." she smiled and reached out to link her fingers with his. He glanced down before meeting her eyes, unable to keep the smile off his face.
"So, would you go on a date with me?" Noah asked, searching her eyes.
"I'd love to. Here?"
"Do you not like it here?" Noah asked his eyes darting to the coffee shop. "We can go somewhere else."
"No, I like it here. They have the best cappuccinos." Still holding hands, Victoria followed Noah into the coffee shop.
Once they had gotten their drinks, they both sat in one of the booths. Noah's eyes widened when she sat next to him, instead of in front of him, her perfume swirling around them. Her hands found him and placed them on her cheeks. She leaned in, her eyes trained on his. Finally, Noah closed the gap in a sweet, coffee-flavored kiss.
